We had 2 buy to let properties which were interest only and in negative equity to the tune of £112,000. We didn't know what to do, and a friend recommended CD Fairfield. We contacted Heather who took on our case, explained how everything would work and the timescale and the probable outcome. During the negotiation period we had no contact with mortgage company at all, so our normal lives were able to continue. We ended up paying £20,000 as a full and final settlement, for which we were delighted to pay. Heather was brilliant throughout the whole process, keeping us up to date at each stage, and I would highly recommend her and CD Fairfield.

Having being left in Negative Equity with 2 Buy To Let properties with £112,000 of Debt, we didn't who to turn to. Negative Equity NI were recommended to us and we started the process with them, very much in the dark to what the journey or the final outcome would be. Heather guided us through the process, and at no stage did we any contact with the mortgage company or their debt management company. This allowed our normal lives to proceed. Heather kept us informed every step of the way and in the end up we settled for £20,000 of a one off settlement. This for us was a fantastic result with £92,000 being written off. The settlement is full and final so we are now able to move on with our lives and our credit has not been affected.

Contacting the guys at Negative Equity UK is most definitely the best decision I have ever made in my life. I could see no light at the end of the tunnel, bankruptcy seemed to be the only option. I had massive negative equity in my home and other Buy to Let properties. The team worked with me tirelessly and I am delighted to say completed an affordable IVA for me in March 16. I have no hesitation in recommending Negative Equity UK to anyone in the same position. My life has been changed because of this company.

We purchased a house in August 2007 for £175,000. We were getting married one year later so we're keen to buy and settle. The house prices just kept creeping up and we didn't see them falling anytime soon, how wrong where we. many significant changes happened in the following years such as an ongoing medical condition, young family, both changed jobs and location became unsuitable due to child minding and distance for jobs. Feeling we had no other options but to hand the house back and go 'bankrupt' we started to look into options. CD Fairfield came at a time when we had lost hope in our mortgage company after asking for help and advice on numerous occasions. Cd Fairfield have been supportive, provided guidance and at no time ever made me feel like I was annoying them with my multiple phone calls and emails. They have been consistently professional and encouraging throughout, especially our case manager Heather. I won't lie, it has been a long stressful process and for us... It paid off hugely!! We have no Iva, no bankruptcy and no arrears. Heather managed to negotiate with the bank an agreed lump sum and small monthly payments over 4yrs. I have recently checked my credit trying and it is already higher than my brother in laws who is no debt etc. My advice is have a little patience, don't be afraid to ask and in time it might also pay off for you!

The best decision i ever made was to call into negative equity. I didnt think they could help me, i didnt think anyone could but they did. I felt that i was stuck in a rut with no sign of escaping but thanks to the guys at negative equity i can finally see light at end if tunnel for me and my children. I cannot thank the people there enough. I bought a property on my own when badly advised just before the crash and it had haunted me every since. I found myself getting into more and more debt trying to a mortage amd co ownership loan that i should never have been given. But hopefully with negative equitys help i can finally move on. Thank you to everyone there

I purchased an apartment in 2008 for £195,000. I made a bad decision and took bad advice regarding an interest only mortgage in conjunction with Co Ownership. The monthly rent and interest only mortgage was too much for me as a single person and they was never any chance I would have been able to start making mortgage repayments. I was totally mis sold this mortgage. I thought there was no way out and I continued to struggle to make payments for 8 years getting further into debt in order to live. In 2016 my property was in £100,000 of negative equity and I wanted out. My Mortgage company and co ownership were of no help and told me bankruptcy was the only option. When I found out about Negative Equity NI, I made an appointment for an initial chat, with no great hopes of a solution. After my first meeting with Tom in April, I actually felt for the first time in years that there was a solution to this nightmare and I could actually be out of it in a few months. The whole process was actually very simple and not at all stressful, everything is taken out of your hands and dealt with in a professional and efficient manner. Nothing was too much trouble, even though I often had silly questions! I moved out of my apartment in August and am now in rented accommodation, so much happier and stress free without a mortgage, which was literally making me ill. Big thanks to Tom, Kyle, Scott and Adele for making everything so easy.

Literally the best thing I've ever done. My house had £80,000 of negative equity. I didn't really want to live there. I was "treading water" paying an interest only mortgage. Negative Equity UK sorted it all out. The house was sold and I'm paying back £9,000. £71,000 write off. Very understanding and helpful people. Totally approachable. I've recommended them to several friend's in the same boat.

Our story is probably the same as thousands of people across Northern Ireland who purchased property around 2005/06. We purchased a house which at the time served our needs and which we were happy to live in. However, as our circumstances changed and work commitments and family meant that we had to move to a different location, we were in a position where we couldn't sell our house due to the 50% hit it had taken in value and couldn't buy a new house either. We became reluctant landlords and renters. This in itself brought many difficulties, and the rental income only ever covered the interest element of the mortgage, meaning that the capital balance remained. We now had no family home, no savings, and mounting bills and debts, causing a lot of stress and worry. We had no prospect of paying the mortgage off at the end of the term. We thought there was no way out of this spiral until a good friend recommended CD Fairfield. Right from the outset with Bob and Tom, they assured us that our situation is no different to many across Northern Ireland and that there were processes that could possibly help us get out of the situation we were in. Natasha and Leslie then handled our case in a very professional manner and explained everything to us along each step of the way. Thankfully they helped negotiate a settlement that has let us move in with our lives and look to the future with positivity instead of fear. I would urge anyone in the same boat as we were in to talk to CD Fairfield, don't put it on the back burner and hope things will change in a few years. It won't, plus interest rates will rise sometime soon. Go talk to the guys and deal with the problem now, that is the biggest step. When you realise there is a path out of, you can start to move on with your lives again. Thanks to all the team, you have made such a difference.

Like many people, my wife and I purchased our first home a year before the property crash. As our family grew we needed to move and where recommended a competitor of Negative Equity UK but after 15 long months we found ourselves further out of pocket and in exactly the same position. At this stage, we had resigned ourselves to this all being ‘too good to be true’ and that this sort of help was not meant normal working families. In December of 2015 I was recommended by a trusted family member that I should speak to Kyle at Negative Equity UK which we did in January 2016. During the first meeting with Kyle and Heather the ‘too good to be true’ feeling had returned only this time it was achievable and all fears and worries we had they alleviated. The difference between the two companies was clear to see (I instantly felt very stupid for trusting the other company) and as we discussed our option their honesty and professionalism meant I instantly trusted them to do their best for us. After the house finally selling at the end of October 2016, our case was settled in November much to our delight. I would especially like to thank Kyle, Heather and Adele for all their help and support throughout the process. I would highly recommend Negative Equity UK, speaking to them has changed our lives for the better, Thank you.

Like a number of people my husband and I built our first home at the peak of the property boom. Our circumstances have since changed with children moving to England we have realised that we would like to follow them. However due to high negative equity thought that this was completely out of reach sending me into depression.Thinking that we had no other available options a friend recommended Negative Equity UK. We had an initial consultation and everything sounded too good to be true. But much to our relief everything happened as instructed ! We are now living in new premises completely free of the worry of negative equity.I can't thank the team enough especially Tom, Kyle Scott Heather and Natasha who were more than helpful throughout the process even with the persistent phone calls!

In 2011 my personal circumstances changed and due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my house and assets. I never thought I would ever find myself in this situation, faced with an overwhelming debt of close to £100,000. The debt brought on immense worry to my personal life and I regularly thought I had no way out. I was receiving numerous demands from debt collecting companies by way of letters and telephone calls and the situation was unbearable. CD Fairfield were recommended to me by a friend who stated they could really help my situation. After my consultation I knew CD Fairfield were a company that could help me resolve this unimaginable problem. CD Fairfield instantly and significantly reduced the stress as they dealt with the debt collecting companies directly on my behalf. This took away the pressure of opening mail or receiving the unwanted phone calls. CD Fairfield kept me appraised of all developments and gave me sound and professional advice on what options were available to me. Whilst this was a long process from start to finish, as my circumstances were complicated, I sincerely could not have dealt with this situation on my own. CD Fairfield negotiated on my behalf and reduced my debt to £12,000. I am now able to rebuild my life and I cannot thank CD Fairfield enough, in particular Heather for her patience, professionalism and determination. We all think " it will never happen to me. " It does unfortunately and I'm forever grateful and relieved I chose CD Fairfield.

'In 2007 we bought our first home together; by October 2014, we were now a family of 4 and our wee home was worth less than half of what we bought it for. We were struggling to meet the mortgage payments which were interest only, so we were getting nowhere. We would never pay off the house and were already concerned about the debt we would one day leave our kids. I had seen negative equity NI advertised and decided to give them a ring. From that first conversation with Bob, then meeting with Tom who showed us a positive route forward, the massive burden began to breakdown and our minds started to ease. We are now debt free, 90% debt cleared by Negative Equity NI and renting our dream home. Everyone we dealt with in Negative Equity NI were wonderful, the case workers were only ever an email or phone call away and always provided a reassuring response. We are so grateful for all they did.
