Extremely easy go understand, nice easy modules meant you could stop for a break whenever you wanted, would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending

This was very thorough in its content. A few spelling errors and annoyingly had to start from the beginning of the module twice when the internet cut out. I would have like a few more practical examples and a longer test would have enabled me to be more confident in the value of the certificate.

This was my third level 2 course, I hadn't refreshed it in a few years. Very comprehensive and thorough, with some new stuff from previous courses. A few minor quibbles. Some of the questions in the course I got wrong but there was no way to find the correct answers. In a few places the spoken text and written text were different and there are several typos in the text. Some of the test questions were worded in an odd way.

Very informative. Relevant to the work place in all areas of catering. Easy to do and understand while caring out a busy schedule which all caterers do.

The course covers a lot of material and is generally clearly presented, albeit not in a terribly engaging manner. Some elements though are not so well structured and leap around a bit which can be confusing. I also think there were a couple of areas where it could have given more of an explanation rather than just presenting something which didn't seem to make much sense. It has left me with questions. You'll also find a number of typos and a couple of contradictions where the voice over says completely the opposite to the slide eg complete and incomplete - which is it? Otherwise, fine - does what it says on the tin!

This training course (level 3 food hygiene) was awful. It was boring, repetitive and buggy. It needs major improvement and I’m happy to give full feedback as to how this can be done. I’m disappointed as this has all previously been pointed out by our business around 1 year ago and no action has been taken on improvements.

Excellent course, however there are a few typos during the course and occasionally the verbal content does not match that printed.

Courses well constructed Easy to study around other obligations. Course notes in the form of the slides allows to recap easily. Only downside is, if reading yourself then you have to wait for continue feature.

It does provide you with the skills to pass the course, sit the exam & reminds you in good time when you are next due to re-sit it in accordance with the law.

Takes far to long for each slide to move to the next. I’m not the fastest reader but I was constantly waiting for the next slide which seemed to take forever. There should be an audio option so it is read out to the person doing the corse. We have a fairly new iMac but the screen froze a few times and the button to unfreeze it didn’t work most of the time, so I had to log out and back it to get it started again. There should also be a direct link on the online training to access the training corse you are doing. I got half way though the corse one day and struggled the next day to load up the corse as I couldn’t find it.

I found NCASS training to be very well explained it allowed you time to write up your own notes but also had prewritten notes available on each module.

There was a lot to cover but I thought the pace was good and the modular nature and the accompanying guidance notes made it easy to follow and "digest." There are a few typos and some of the drop downs in the in-module questions didn't work very well.

A very informative course but sadly let down by several things. There is a great deal of repetition in the information, and although I understand it is to drum home the message, it actually makes for a monotone and monotonous experience. HPA no longer exists, it's called PHE Public Health England these days. I know because I work there. Ideally, there might be a brief set of revision notes because although I'm capable of making my own, with 14 hours and approximately 600 pages to take in, many people, particularly not native English speakers may well find the course difficult. Update: I received a call from NCASS to enquire about this review. I appreciate the call and hopefully gave a more detailed explanation for the score. Once the changes have been looked at and the course updated to reflect out of date information, I will happily review my score. The lady I spoke to was very understanding, but at present, I feel my review justified. One thing I didn't particularly like about the call was being asked if I would be interested in further purchases. This was not relevant to the subject of the call.
