“Delivery charges are too much for Scotland. Tried to order 2.5 kilos of products yesterday and postage to my address was £7.19 plus tax. I live in mainland Scotland”

Hi Trish, Thank you for your review, however, its extremely disappointing and unjustified considering you have ordered twice before and that carriage is calculated before asking for any payment. We as a company have to pay for delivery (if is not a free service), If you are not happy with the delivery charge, please do not complete your order. Please note, we send all orders out on a next working day service because we understand the importance of an efficient and reliable service when delivering food items. If you know of a courier who offers a tracked 24hr service to Scotland for up to 3kg for less than £3.19 - kindly let us know.... as we already subsidise carriage due to fluctuating fuel surcharges. Hi Carla, Thank you for your review, although it's a little disappointing ☹. We do give the give the approximate dimension of the mango in the product description, which can be quite large, up to 30mm x 90mm. And we do state the slices have a chewy texture. Our product is incredibly good value, and we are very proud of our service in general. Hi Alisdair, Thank you for your 5* review - it is very much appreciated by everyone a HBS Natural Choice! As for your recommendation for biodegradable packets, this is something we've visited many times before and will continue to investigate going forward. However, the fact we sell perishable food products does cause complications when using this type of packaging. Ture biodegradable/compostable packaging isn't completely air tight and tends to absorb the natural oils from our products, this results in shorter shelf life and unsightly stains on the packaging. There are some types of biodegradable packs with duel layers and non absorbent barriers which could work, unfortunately this type of packaging is hellishly expensive, also, the "Biodegradable" labeling is questionable given fact it can still take decades to degrade which is almost misleading customers.
