“The colour & consistence of the product were offputing. The taste was bitter but the advert did warne not to use as spread. Worse of all, the item was produced in the US. This info should have been expressed in the advert. I disposed of it.”

Hi Dom, We are sorry to hear of your disappointment in the walnut paste supplied. Walnut paste is unlike any other nut butter, the process of turning walnuts into paste intensifies the walnut smell, flavor, and bitterness which makes it a perfect flavouring ingredient in breads, bakery, and salad dressing. As you rightfully pointed out, all this information is listed in our product description, we also advise not to use this product as a spread on its own - it's too intense on it's own. As for the walnut being produced in the US, that is not correct. The walnuts are of US origin (Californian), the actual product is produced in the UK at our processing factory in Dudley West Midlands. Before leaving negative reviews, we would always encourage the customer to contact us direct by responding to the order confirmation email, enabling us to investigate and resolve issues swiftly.
