“Due to our dishwasher not drying we called NAC to do the repair. Their engineer quickly removed the machine, as it is a built in unit, and proceeded to remove panels to test the heating unit. This was proven to have a direct short, hence the reason our RCD had been tripping. The engineer also found a pressure switch was full of water, so this would also need replacing. After getting both parts from his van, the engineer gave us the price of both items, prior to asking if we'd like the items fitted. Of course we decided to have both fitted. Within a very short time the dishwasher was back in position and on a short test cycle. Since then the dishwasher has been perfect and there has been no further RCD trips. A big thankyou to our engineer who was very meticulous and explained everything regarding the repair. He even picked up and folded the towel we gave him to absorb any water spillage, as the dishwasher had to be laid on its side to do the repair. I would also like to mention NAC's prompt service. I emailed over the Bank Holiday so no one picked up the request for a callout until Tuesday morning. Despite this an engineer was arranged for that day between 1 and 3pm. This was an excellent service and much appreciated. Following our first dealings with NAC I will no doubt be calling them out again for any further appliance breakdowns and would certainly recommend their services to anyone in need of electrical appliance repairs.”
