“Very nice people and the lawn looks good. I know that the quote was for laying turf but they took down some wooden runner bean supports and canes and I was hoping they would have taken them away but they did not. Apart from that everything fine.”

“This is a good site for finding tradespeople interested in the work you need doing. And it's good to get 3 quotes for the work too. I found it wasn't obvious how to see the person's profile though so this could be made clearer. It's a shame you can't leave reviews for someone you've not chosen so that the site is made aware of any potential issues. One person we had round walked in passed our stairs and asked where the job was, despite the job being advertised as a cupboard under the stairs!!! This could've been a language issue but didn't fill me with confidence! The person we chose to do the job was brilliant though.”

“Only a couple of downsides with the site for me was that l asked for a local trader and got people wanting to quote me from 55miles away, and somebody pays for all that travel time. Also, can feel quite pushy with the frequent emailing which can be irritating. Found a good local trader though, in my hometown which matters to me for continuity, and will use Aiden again.”

“What worries me is that My Job Quote has a lot of Companies on their books but they have not been checked out by them fully. Out of six Companies I contacted when I had to ask about full public liability Insurance two stopped answering my emails or said they would not want to go further. Two just gave a verbal figure at that point of visit with no back up in writing of the cost mentioned or what they were suppling for the cost. I feel My Job Quote needs Companies that have been checked out by them up front to give the Customer more confidence and if they want to be on My Jobs Books they should always give a cost and what they are going to do in writing. I did have some good feed back from some other Companies.”
