“I have had great luck ordering breeches, but my recent show jacket purchase just went wrong wrong wrong. The sizing is totally off from the Pikeur show jacket I have. I have a German size 84, which they used to call a USA 14L. Ran really small, but hey, I figured that out and knew what to order. Now, on-line, the 84 says 10L. They really changed the sizing and I have no confidence in ordering based on sizing from past orders or on the on-line description. The email response said there was a caveat in the description about translation issues in sizing, but the point is it is not enough. How about "ATTENTION, WE DRASTICALLY CHANGED SIZING"!! Hope they don't change that for breeches.”
Hello, thanks very much for the feedback, and Im really sorry to hear you had a bad experience with US sizing. unfortunately Pikeur's German to US sizing translation on jackets and coats has been incorrect for many years which has caused an issue. On our advice, Pikeur has agreed to change this. We can always help to find the best size with bust and waist measurements, and are on hand to help in any way we can.
