“Extremely fast and professional service, helping me and absolute last minute mum get the most beautiful cake. Ordered online on Tuesday evening, received a call to check about allergy requirements. The cake was delivered by the baker personally to my kitchen counter on Saturday morning = One super excited and delighted 5 year old (and mum!). Not to mention all the guest compliments. Just amazing service at a fair price!!!”

“The whole process for finding a baker to produce a cake was very smooth! I was unsure with the process at first but had nothing to worry about. With help from Kat and quotes provided by several bakers, I chose Barbora. Barbora’s quote was reasonably priced and included personal delivery to the venue plus I liked Barbora’s info page and photos. Both Kat and Barbora ensured that my brief was followed which it was beautifully - an 8” 3 layered sponge with buttercream and berry compote, covered with swirled Swiss meringue buttercream and topped beautifully with white/pink tipped fresh peonies and eucalyptus. Barbora was so helpful, patient and advice/options given were excellent and kept me updated right up to when the cake was delivered. The cake tasted wonderful and looked stunning. The bride and groom plus all guests just loved it - so so pretty and tasty. The payment for the cake was very easy which Kat was involved with - I will definitely recommend mybaker.com and Barbora to all. Thank you Barbora for making the day complete with the beautiful cake - I cannot praise you highly enough - truly talented!”

“Absolutely beautiful and delicious birthday cake for my 18 year old daughter. MY BAKER listened to us, guided us through the choices and were very patient and flexible with what we wanted. It was quite a bespoke service as a result, even though they have all the cakes to choose from on the website they were open to making it just right for us. They were patient and answered all our questions and communicated with us really well. Cannot recommend them highly enough. My daughter loved it!”

“I had a wonderful experience working with Noreen to find the right baker for a birthday cake all the way from Richmond, VA, USA for an event I was planning in the UK. The cake was absolutely picture perfect and on the outside exactly what I was looking for. It was a masterpiece to look at. It was unfortunately VERY DRY and I was very disappointed by this. When I relayed this to Noreen and she spoke to the baker - I was told "she was her #1 on go to" and "she had stayed up all night" making the cake & she (the baker) was so "upset to hear this". When I asked for some kind of refund - yeah - when someone says "it tastes like she baked it when I ordered it" you should be given a refund. I was told I would get 20 pounds off my next order...I know I will not use My Baker again and will not hesitate to not recommend. While I appreciate the time, work and effort put into making the cake - it was an aweful tasting cake and even good bakers make a bad one now and again.”

“I ordered a lemon and elderflower tall semi-naked cake for a birthday party. I was surprised that it was possible in the first place as it was a last minute decision - I ordered and paid for it late Thursday afternoon for delivery on Saturday around 1pm. The process was pretty simple/painless as I did it through email and liaised with Kat, who was really responsive. I also requested it to be delivered directly to the pub where the party was held and I was informed by the pub manager that it was delivered on time with instructions to keep the cake in the fridge and to take it out an hour before serving. Everyone said the cake looked lovely with white orchids and yellow roses trailing down the cake the way I wanted it. :-) As for the taste, I definitely tasted the lemon but not the elderflower, though I presume that was pretty delicate in itself, so maybe a bit difficult to identify. However, it was refreshingly light, which was how I wanted it, so it helped put a nice finishing touch to the birthday party ending it on a happy note! I would definitely order from My Baker again!”

“When we received the cake we were rather underwhelmed with its appearance and was a far cry from the picture on the internet. It was very costly, and although tasted ok it was in no way worth the money. We even had to do our own decoration on it to make it look more special for the event it was required for. I will not be using MyBaker again.”
