“The application was smooth and easy to use. But the problem is, there is no feedback on whether my application has been considered or accessed. No feedback and it is the only problem I am having with your platform. At least lets get some feedback from the schools whether we are progressing to the next stage of the process or not.”

“The registration was lengthy and was confused why you had to upload a cv when you have to fill out your entire work history. When applying for a job the 2000 minimum character statement is far too long, and having to do this for every application is off putting. I also do not agree with the references being taken before the interview as this can make it awkward when your current employer is approached and you don’t get the position.”

“I think the supporting statement is too much asking candidates to write a statement of 2,000 words, I struggle writing 2,000 words to support an application.”

“Overall an easy, accessible way of submitting the application form. However at this occasion I was informed about my interview two days prior the date of 29th of November 2023. I believe the recrutation process was completed by midday on Wednesday the 22nd .”

“I feel like it's helpful when making a CV with a clear format and with all the important information. It's hard finding vacancies related to teaching assistants. I am struggling to find and had to search on Google.”

“I have not received the lesson observation details. These are necessary to plan and prepare resources for the lesson. Is this available on here? I cannot see it. I have looked everywhere. I have not received an email from the school yet either. Please advise.”

“I applied for several Exam Invigilator temporary posts which were all basic pay level jobs. I found the website okay to navigate however I was put off by having to write a 2000 word personal statement before I could submit my applications. I understand this for teachers, high level jobs but I feel for low level minimum wage admin jobs this is overkill and certainly puts lots of people off.”

“The platform was very straightforward however, unless your CV is a standard Word document, don’t upload it. It put my data all over the place. I had to spend a lot of time double checking to make sure the right info matched the right job or qualification.”

“The application process is straight forward and easy on this website, but the search function isn't great compared to others. I seem to have to reset the location filter every time I refresh the page (which isn't the case for dfe or tes job sites)”

“It is time consuming to fill each field, one at a time, unable to copy and paste or navigate quicker. Furthermore, candidates could have the freedom to allow access to potential employers rather than adding specific schools one at a time. It could be more user friendly. Candidates are spending hours typing individual fields to discover no one else can access their profile for job hunting.”

“This was a very over complicated form to fill out. There was no need for multiple boxes to be created when writing down education and employment. It would be easier and far quicker to have tables available to fill in. Also, there was no need for employment history from secondary school, many people only find jobs at 18 therefore, I was frustrating when the system would not let you continue. Overall, this was a too lengthy process for teachers to fill in”
