“It’s a long winded difficult application process where even if you’ve completed questions or sections it doesn’t move forward and you have to spend double triple the time going back over everything to press complete and tick boxes”

“I've been kicked back from every job application I've applied for through this website with the same copy/paste of 'so many candidates and can't give feedback to everyone' email. The irony of that same website asking me for my feedback is beyond laughable.”

“On the whole the website is efficient but does not leave much room for anomalies .. eg. I have only had three jobs and two of my previous employers are no longer trading and I do not have contact with anyone from those times (18 years or more ago).. and could not use anyone else as a second reference other than a long standing friend as I felt two references from the same job wasn't ok. I know it gives you the chance to explain gaps in employment but still felt this was a bit 'clunky'”

“I am abit suprised that i was unable to arrange another date for my interview and then declined straight away once i asked very nicely in an email we can rearrange. i was informed only 2 days prior about my interview date i should of at least been offered a different one. Also i am still waiting for one application which has been read but nothing has come from it yet.”

“dont want to use this often as when it comes to submitting application it dont let you submit until you write 2000 words atleast.also does not save it for next time which is so long to keep writing 2000 words everytime you apply for a job”

The process to apply for any vacancy work in schools is the same for all applicants, regardless of role, as all schools need to comply with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines. The advantage of MyNewTerm is you only need to complete your online profile ONCE and it is then saved for any future applications you make. “It is really good to use as all your personal information is stored and you just need to fill in the additional information when applying for any new job you are interested in. Only thing that is confusing it at it say you can only submit additional inform of 2000 characters not words but does allow you submit 2 A4 sheets approximately which is more than 2000 words.”
