“I used the MusicMagpie service for the very first time last week to sell a mobile phone and I was extremely impressed by the quick and simple service they provided. I took the phone to the post office last Wednesday and by the following Monday morning the funds were in my account and it was the exact amount they had quoted online. And postage was free too ! Fantastic company. I will certainly use them again .”

“So simple to use. Quickly gave a price for the iPhone I wanted to sell with a few straightforward questions. The process of addressing the box and getting it in the post was a doddle. Nice amount of communication between me sending the phone and receiving payment, which was made for the amount and on the date stated. Impressed.”

“Not sure about Music Magpie. Sold an iphone to them, no issues whatsoever. However, sent in a Macbook Pro (fully working) as offered £400 but was told within 30 mins of them receiving the mac that it was faulty (apparent hardware fault) and they offered £80 instead. Now I know that the mac was working perfectly and so declined the paltry offer and the mac was sent back. I have checked the mac using Apple Diagnostics and no errors whatsoever! Not sure what they are playing at but thought potential sellers should know. I may be less sceptical if they provided full details of the so called fault so that I could confirm the issue but nothing was forthcoming.”

“It's really easy to use the site to sell your old stuff. I've sold a couple of phones and an old games console. You don't even need to use a printer - just use the QR code they email to you at your local Post Office. It only takes a few days for your stuff to arrive at their depot and once they've inspected it you receive your money really quickly. I've never had any quibbles.”
