DO NOT USE MR CLUTCH KINGSTON. DO NOT BELIEVE 5 STAR RATING. They are incompetent. Also no point in complaining as head office refuse to investigate unless bad review is removed first -- all they are interested in is manipulating rating and don't care about customers at all.

Had "new" front tyres fitted which were filthy and look older than the existing rear pair. Also did not clean my car after a service. Not a good experience.

The warning light for air pressure was on when I dropped off my car for MOT test and I asked if the air pressure of tyres could be checked in particular one tyre had very low pressure. When I picked up the car the air pressure was not checked and I ask if it was done and I was told that the air pressure gauge was not working and no air was pumped into the tyre that had very low air pressure.

My car was failed on 4 points, only one of which the garage that repaired my indicator switch agreed with. The others were marginal calls

I was told that one of my headlights was not working, and it probably need a replacement blub ! I was not convinced about this as the BMW iDrive systems did not highlight it as an issue, and I even checked and doubled checked during the day and at night in the dark and there was no difference with either headlight (normal or main beam). I also didn't like the way my car shaken violently when it was being checked underneath, as I have never witnessed this before being present at many of my MOTs in the past.

Booked MOT for 4pm 29 October. Told it was last booking of the day. Arrived at 3.25pm on off chance of an earlier start. Told it would be another 25 minutes as. Didn't want to sit around for an extra half hour so said I would return for my 4pm appointment. Returned at 3.55pm to find they had just started on another car ahead of me having allowed someone to jump the queue. Poor customer treatment and inconsistent with good treatment I have always received in recent years. Manager was very apologetic.

I had booked my mot and service for 28/10/2016 as my old mot expires 28/11/2016 and this was the earliest it could be presented to preserve the date.As it had to be at the centre before 10 am I took it the day before as I was unable to be there at that time on the 28th.This was all booked on line for this date 28/10/2016 so I was very disappointed when I now collected my car to find the mot had taken place on the 27/10/2016 hence losing me 1 months mot just because the centre had Time on this day and were busier on the Day of my Booking when I complained as I feel it was no fault of mine I was told they would give me a £3.00 discount next mot as of which is no use to me as the mot was done in order to sell the car.

The centre didn't update me as they were doing the MOT - I had to ring them on the hour pretty much to find out whether it was fixed, what the repairs were, how much it would cost, etc - very slow service although polite. I also felt that the price quoted for the items which needed fixing for my MOT was excessive - just because I am a young female doesn't mean I am an idiot.

I did my booking and paid online for a full service £142.45. However the branch staff charged the booking fee (£142.45) again by mistake, then said that I should contact the office for a refund. It's very bad customer service.

Very impersonal service. Left car for air con recharge and clean Picked car up 45 minutes later. Just given keys. Told aircon still not very cold. Come back in 3 months and we'll see if we can find why it leaked. No idea what the "Clean" was Its not very cold because I don't think you have put enough refrigerant in it. No invoice, no report, no info given about what was done. I bought this as an offer from Groupon. Won't be coming back.

Booked car in for mot and air conditioning re-charge on 15/08/16. Following day telephoned the Chelmsford branch to see if I could also have service undertaken. I was told no problem and delivered car on 17/08/16 confirming I was dropping car off for service and mot. I telephoned the branch on afternoon of 17/08 to see if the car was ready for collection but was informed the car had failed it's MOT due to a few problems including; 1. A incorrectly fitted tyre (previously fitted by Mr Clutch) 2. An airbag service warning light (previously repaired by Mr Clutch) The car remained at the branch overnight for collection on 18/08/16. Upon collection the Branch requested payment but had realised the Air con recharge had not been carried out and I had to wait for approximately 30mins for this to be carried out. It was also apparent no service had been undertaken despite this being requested.

- We've been waiting for 6.5 hrs to finish the service. (actually, we've been there many times due to all of our company cars were done the service there, but, every time we need to wait for almost whole day to get the car, sometimes we need to go there twice) - Forgot to give us the Free privilege card as we bought Gold Plus Service, therefore, I do need your help to post us the privilege card to our company address.

Booked car in for a service and MOT. Car apparently failed the MOT on the basis that the front suspension coils were broken. I couldn't wait a few days for for a slot so they could do the work on the car and then re-test, I was at the time in the middle of relocating to a different part of the country. I took the car to a different company for an MOT test a few days later and it was discovered that the front suspension coils were actually OK. They must be special healing springs. OMG! Am I driving a magical car???

Cannot comment on the work that was done, all I have is the paperwork. Major work needed in customer service training. Front desk operatives must acknowledge customers. The experience I had on drop off and pick up was consistent, ignored on both occasions. I felt that it was like a sketch from little Britain computer says no and then the assistant coughs on you!

Sadly the branch that I booked with (Southport) does not actually do MOTs, they subcontract them out (I was unaware of this and the website is not explicit in this). I booked for 8.30, arrived at 8.20 as instructed however no-one turned up until 9.15. I was told that the website should not allow people to book online for MOTs at Southport and that he was unaware of the booking. To his credit, he sorted me out straight away and could have not been more pleasant. I did however have to leave the vehicle with them which disrupted my plans for the morning significantly. The website gives a false impression that bookings can be made for MOTs at the Southport branch and communication bwtween Mr Clutch and the garage was non-existent meaning that I had a long wait
