“Went to the Bromley branch today. I am part exchanging my car very soon but thought the brakes needed doing. They advised me that I would be okay if I sold it soon and didn't need to do them. Other companies would have been trying to get money out of me.
I also had a panel loose under the car. They fixed it for me. All of this cost me nothing !
I have never met a firm with such honest and helpful staff, their customer service is brilliant.
I will never go to those supposedly fast fitting rivals again.
It will be Mr Clutch every time for me now and I will be recommending them to everyone.

“Book MOT online at a reduced cost, was easy to do. Arrived a few minutes early and was dealt with professionally and with ease.
I left the car with them and went out rather than waiting in the reception area, came back after 45 minutes and was all done and car waiting back outside.

“Took my vehicle into the Maidstone branch for an MOT and Service which I was a little nervous about. I booked online and took full advantage of the 5% discount and I also managed to get a reduced MOT price for being an o2 customer. My vehicle had not felt right for sometime and I was really concerned just how much the vehicle repairs would cost. The garage was able to fit me in on a Saturday and complete the service in the morning and fit in the MOT at lunch time. I was updated throughout and and given choices rather than hitting me with a large bill. My car passed the MOT but I will informed and advised on a number of things I should do which would help me avoiding large costs further down the line. I did not feel under any pressure and I was given the option to plan and stagger the repairs over a few months to reduce the the pain it would have on my finances. This was by far the best experience I have had at any garage and am now a customer for life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
“I booked the MOT online for £32. Dropped car off and left them to it.
I went back to collect the car (fearing the worst as some reviews for Mr Clutch that I have come across are very concerning), my car passed and needed the headlights tweaking/adjusting which they said would normally be chargable but they waivered the cost as it was a minor issue.
All in all it was a very good service from the Reading Mr Clutch.”

All appears good, the work was carried out and all at a vey reasonable price so on that basis I would recommend them.
My only criticism is one of lack of communication.
I booked the service etc on line.
1) I never received any email confirmation
2) I was making plans to drop off the car the previous evening on the basis that getting to them early morning would be difficult. When I phoned, I was told that my car was booked in for 10.45am. No mention had been made of this earlier.
3) On the basis that I needed to return to pick up my car by public transport, it was getting near my deadline to get there for closing time, so I phoned myself only to be told that it was all finished and awaiting collection.
Finally, I believe I am entitled to some form of privilege card as I had the full Gold Plus service. No mention has been made of this so far. I assume I receive this later.”
