The staff are always really helpful and try to accommodate me wherever they can. I was particularly impressed when my car broke down recently. It needed a new starter motor. The car was dropped of on Sat morning and I got it back by the afternoon! now that's what I call service!”
“I took my car initially Mr Clutch to make the MOT and then do the air conditioning filling my car.
When I got to the scheduled was told that the air conditioning would not be possible to do that day because the machine broke down, I agreed, then then the car was to the MOT.
It was not because the MOT has two problems in parking brake and the brake pads front inside were low limits. So far so good, so then scheduled to the next day to repair the problems.
I left the car in the morning to see what I needed and then I was contacted later and told me that the car needed drives forward and brake pads and behind needed brake pump on the right side and that the repair value would be £ 379.24 to which I promptly I authorized the repair was made.
When I lift the car was told to be careful for a while with the brakes because they could still not lock properly but would look good over time.
They spent two weeks and once in a while the car does not brake because the brake pedal is stiff and precionar not go down or hangs and have to resort to the handbrake to stop but then the fault disappears.
Was today again in the store to say what was happening and was told after esperimentarem the car did not have any problem and then I was told that the problem was on the brake servo, to which I replied that the car before repair never done anything like that and that was after the repair it appeared then also told me it was coincidence and I asked if it would be no air in the hydraulic brake system because they exchanged the pump rear brakes entails opening the hydraulic system and in turn if you have air inside will cause the brake pedal be stiff (the oil is compressible and the air does not), they did not agree with me and continue to say it was coincidence.
My question is this. The car was fighting well before repair despite the tablets inside are almost exhausted and after paying a repair still get the car to catch bad? This is a safety item!
Does the workshop do not know that if you open a car brake system has to purge the system to remove all air?
It was the first time I used the service Mr Clutch but I think I'm not going to use but not advise anyone because I was very badly served.
Work in the automobile industry since 1994 and have never seen such a thing said by a mechanical automobile.
I know of what I speak because I work in the automobile industry since 1994 and I am pleased to be recognized with accept responsibility VW engineer for repairs and training in the Volkswagen and now working for Honda in Swindon, so I have to get to know my dissatisfaction with the service provided.
Unfortunately it seems that I will be the one to solve the problem.

“Booked online for a service and MOT and the instructions received by email were to take the car in any time before 10am. When I took my car in at about 0930 the guys on reception told me they could do my service, but not the MOT as they were fully booked and I hadn't specified a time online. The result is I am having to take my car in again a week later for its MOT, a complete waste of my time. It's lucky that I have a few weeks left on my MOT date, had this been the due date your booking system would have left me in a difficult situation with ano unroadworthy car.
