“I made online booking for 9.15 am on 26/5/2014 but in the store I was booked for 10.45 am. I also showed email confirmation but he had another telephone booking at the same time. Unfortunately I took 10.45 appointment.

“I booked & paid online for a gold plus service, there were no problems when I dropped the car off. When I went to collect it I was told that they hadn't looked at the rear breaks as they couldn't find the locking wheel nut key. There was no mention of this when I was called to say the car was ready as I could have told them where it was. When driving the car it became apparent that the service warning had also not been reset, but the paperwork I was given said it had been. Not being a mechanic, I don't know what else they've said they've done but actually haven't. I certainly won't be using this branch of Mr Clutch again.”

“Had my M.O.T tested at Mr Clutch Kingston upon thames, seemed very professional, compared with other MOT test centres, got an appointment straight away. Manager Ian kept me up to date about my MOT, and even had room for a bit of humour. I was given my MOT Docs in a Mr clutch welcome pack which was a nice touch rather than a piece of a4 paper. I would reccomend Mr clutch to anyone, genuine staff, good atmosphere, good job.”

“I took my car in to the chingford branch after comparing their online offers with that of the rival halfords next door. For 185 I was able to have an MOT and major service. The staff were courteous and fairly quick. Kept in contact and explained everything to me when I went in. If the car fails and needs a retest and you take it away as its cheaper to repair, you only pay about ten pounds as a retest fee as the original fee was discounted. Well worth a look at their online deals as you save by pre paying. I would definitely go back”
“Pat, the guy at the front desk seemed a little overrun so had to call him mid-morning to check on the progress of my MOT.
Car failed on something fairly minor and they were able to repair it that afternoon at a reasonable price.
Can't complain - cheap MOT, friendly staff and everything done in a single day.”
