“Had my car recovered to Mr Clutch in Portsmouth overnight and phoned them the next morning to get them to check what I believed to be the problem (broken driveshaft) they got back to me and confirmed the problem and gave me a quote. As it is an old car and I'm a cheap skate I asked if they would mind looking over the rest of the car for me as I was worried about spending out on the car only to have it break down again soon or fail the impending MOT. They were more than happy to do this free of charge and gave me a comprehensive report on everything they could find wrong with the car and an opinion on whether to go ahead with the work. In the end I decided to source my own 2nd hand driveshaft and have it delivered to Mr Clutch for them to fit, so as to save money. This resulted in my car being there for over a week and they were good enough to look after the car for me. As I only live down the road I noticed that Mr Clutch would even bring the car indoors each evening to keep it safe. I was extremely happy with the work carried out, the price of their labour and most of all their excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.”
