“Brought my car in for an MOT, tried to charge me for £50 for work that was not required, failed my car.
I then took my car to another garage and the car was fine after tests on the same section of the MOT, with no work required.
Customer service was terrible and staff were borderline rude. The tech who did the MOT was helpful, but ultimately wrong.”
“No problem with the mechanics but the man on reception is very rude, doesn't greet in a friendly manner and talks down to you. I have been going to Mr Clutch for years but the last two cars i have taken i am greeted by this bad mannered person, so rather than hearing that again and me coming away feeling angry i have decided to go somewhere else with my family and work cars.”
“Took down my old tax disc holder, destroyed it but left glue on the windscreen. Did not ask them to do so, had it there on purpose. very poor service”
“I have used mr clutch in slough for the past few years and my car has always passed. This time However they decided to fail me on things that have always been there but they have never said anything before!!! For example the broken handle on my passenger window, the rust underneath and the battery grate. Why after all these years have they only just decided to mention them”
“What a rip off! I should have gone with my gut the first time they failed one of my vehicles on an MOT for a light bulb which they then wanted the earth to replace and then another charge to re-test. Now to fail on a borderline tyre and say £75 to replace the tyre and another £10 for a re-test laughable! Don't for a second thing that they're cheap MOT's are a bargain! They find a way to add on the costs every time! Better off spending a little more somewhere else and get someone that doesn't find ways to up the price at every opportunity!”
