“My partner and i brought our first property this year and Charles not only helped us with our mortgage he helped us every step of the way and i couldn't recommend him enough as he really put us first and gave us as much time as we needed, he always got back to us very quickly and i couldn't be happier with mortgage lights/charlies customer service.”

“My initial conversation with them was honest and informative. Whilst in the end I dealt with someone different (Alex) they were also great, providing lots of updates and being much more proactive than I would have expected. My only piece of feedback that is in any way developmental is that their offer paperwork could be clearer - and linked to this they could be clearer in highlighting mortgage (i.e. not their but the mortgage provider's) fees, if applicable. A very good service.”

“Was quick in getting the initial application in, then when things came up and more information was needed were very slow and was lacking in communicating what was going on I kept having to chase rather then being updated.”

“We were first contacted by Mortgage Light due to an interest in some 2 bed properties in Stewartby, there was much confusion and I didn't proceed due to many reasons. My partner and I then found a property in Stotfold so contacted Mortgage Light to see if they could help, Alex Stoyles managed our mortgage for us and helped us in many different ways. Not only was he understanding, conscientious and speedy, he was also friendly and helped us be put at ease especially as it was our first home and we had a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend Alex to all my friends and family for future mortgage needs.”

“The team were very friendly, supportive and informative at all stages of the process, i couldnt fault them for the work and help they gave/did. I was not happy the last time i spoke with them however as i was laughed at for saying i didnt want a type of insurance policy, followed by a repeated hard sell and i was made to feel very stupid despite explaining my husband and i had discussed this and were not interested. Its a real shame because up until that point i had nothing but praise for this team and had been passing on the teams name to friends.”

“I think a company is made by individuals, and in most of the cases, we review a company based on a particular employee. For Mortgage Light, the name is James Carr who truly supported us from beginning to end. He was flexible and met us outside of working hours, explaining us the several options available. In recommending Mortgage Light, I am in fact recommending James.”
