“Don't normally write these reviews but my experience with mortgage 1st has been fantastic. As a first time buyer I cant thank this company enough for guiding me through the process of getting my mortgage sorted. The adviser and processor team were very kind and patient throughout and its because of them I now own my first home!”

“They tryed to help us get a mortgage told us 3 times different mortgage prices and they told us we could have one to just turn round after nearly 3 months that we could not after we had a offer accepted on a house will not be using them ever again.”

Hi, Thank you for providing your feedback If you would like to get in touch with us directly we would be happy to discuss this in more detail with you, however having looked into the circumstances of your mortgage application I can see that the issues were caused by our adviser not being initially provided with accurate details of your credit history and financial circumstances. If we had been made aware of your previous property repossession or bankruptcy from the outset we would have been able to advise you much earlier in the process that a mortgage would not be possible. We completely appreciate that not being able to obtain a mortgage is extremely frustrating but likewise our advisers can only base their advice on the information provided by the client, and if not accurate can lead to complications further down the line, as was the case with your application. “Mortgage 1st have been brilliant from the start, I was getting not much engagement or interest from other companies while trying to get my first mortgage and everywhere I went the answer was no. I happened to come across Mortgage 1st and their approach was completely different, I was initially sceptical due to the fact of all the "no"s I had received from other companies. Elliot started off by taking me through the usual process but explaining in much better detail and knew which lender to approach based on my circumstances, he was friendly, professional and responsive. Once passed across to the controller Beverly Im pleased to say I got a mortgage offer thanks to Elliot, Beverly and Mortgage 1st and cannot thank them enough! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a mortgage and has had a similar bad experience with other companies.”

“Amanda has been amazing from day one of me making an enquiry regarding a mortgage. After being told that we wouldn’t get a mortgage because Kyle is self employed, Amanda guaranteed us that she would be able to make this possible for us - and she has! We can’t thank Amanda enough, she has answered any questions and queries no matter what the time and kept us up to date on everything that she was doing at each point and explained everything (we are first time buyers). When we had worries about the process, she reassured us that there was nothing to stress about and everything was in hand. I would recommend Amanda to anyone, nothing is too much to ask! “Our experience with Vidhya Devabhai was the best experience ever. She is the best mortgage advisor ever. She is always on top of everything. We were so worried about our mortgage because our previous mortgage advisor backed up at the last second. We lost all of our hope but we found Vidhya. “My experience with Chris was fantastic. He helped find the right mortgage for me without compromising on a very long term and I was over the moon to be told that I could pay a better (lower) interest rate than what a different advisor had previously told me was my only option (a very high 8%).
