Many thanks for the feedback
This is a fixed fee from the UK distributor which we cannot control I'm afraid which is why this is explained prior to purchase.
We would like to thank you again for your continued custom
“The company is fast and reliable.
However the stroller isnt as much, you have to take it to pieces whilest careing for your disabled child makes no sence and isnt easy. The hood sticks up into the air providing little actual shade.”
“Buying the pushchair was easy and then buying the accessories was confusing. The price for the accessories doesn’t really meet what you get. The pushchair is very light and pretty awesome…but the sun canopy and foot rest doesn’t fold down with the pram. Which is annoying lol”
“I bought an all terrain wheelchair for a friend. She is really pleased with it. Very comfortable and good quality. Very fast delivery which was great only thing that could be improved is a little bit more notice of the delivery slot but that's just logistics. Otherwise great.”
“I ordered a manual wheelchair, as such I didn’t get all the phone calls they stated on their site after you ordered to make sure the equipment is right for you etc.. to be honest I’d give 5 starts if it wasn’t for the fact I didn’t know who was delivering and what day, so I missed the delivery and that caused a 4day delay. It would of been helpful for me and delivery company if they had sent an email to say, your item will be delivered today and this is your delivery company name and tracking number, they’ll be expected between 1pm -3pm….
Love my new chair though and price and payment plan was good too.”
“Bought direct from supplier website. Same price as Amazon but I felt more assured about service, particularly after-sales…may not be any different via Amazon…don’t know! Very helpful staff on the helplines (even bank holiday weekend). Re chair itself: ticked all the boxes in terms of features. Wheels come off very easily to lighten the chair for lifting into car boot. Frame is fairly light and manageable.
Spare fasteners were included (a great plus) although this was confusing because they weren’t labelled as ‘Spares’…they just came in a bag and a note to identify which fasteners were included. It looked as though the user needed to use the fasteners to somehow assemble the chair. I had to call the tech team to see what needed further assembly…which is when I was told the parts were just spares.
Negatives are:
I also had to call the technical team because there was no obvious way to attach the footrest assembly. The insertion peg and tube gripper are positioned in such a way that you simply can’t align both together to fit the footrest bars unless you force the fittings at an awkward angle at risk of breaking them. Instructions did not address this other than to say ‘Do the opposite of taking the footrest off! The instruction were useless for taking the footrest off so that was no help! No suitable videos on this online so I had to call Mobiquip tech team…apparently you do indeed just use brute force… I tried it and the fittings remained intact. Not sure how durable they will be if force is repeatedly used…and you have to use force.
The other snag appeared when trying to fold the chair down. It was so stiff that I had to turn it on it’s side and push down hard on the sides of the frame to make it fold. This was still necessary after oiling all of the moving parts associated with folding and unfolding…really tight…too tight for me to be able to ‘concertina’ the sides together from the normal seating position (I don’t think I am particularly weak). With the chair on it’s side, I pushed down on the frame to collapse it and pulled up to open it many, many times hoping that it would loosen a bit, but is still very tight. If it’s placed on it’s side on hard ground, the frame and hubs will get badly scratched so I carry a large sheet of thick cardboard around to put in the ground before laying the chair sideways. I’ve actually loosened some of the screws in the joints very, very slightly but don’t want to loosen them too much! It didn’t make much difference. I just hope it gets easier.
Despite the snags, this seems to be a good quality product with helpful features. Not really used much so far so can’t add anything on comfort etc. Happy so far so just dropped a start due to the issues above.”
“Have purchased a wheelchair and a roll at or recently. Both are of high quality and well designed. Instructions could be clearer, e.g. no information on what the correct tyre pressures should be tor the wheelchair. Have raised queries both by email and phone. Answers provided promptly which evidences good customer service.”
“Good on line help and ordering. They were unable to supply my exact requirements but offered an acceptable alternative. Price was competitive and delivery prompt.”
“I find the electric scooter very easy to handle and feel safe at all times when driving it. It’s a real pleasure to be able to get out into the fresh air and even do my own shopping!”
“Delivery was prompt and on time. The wheelchair seems to be just what my wife needs - a bit more comfort than the basic one we had. There was a discrepancy between the Mobiquip ad and what the manufacturer said, about use on anything other than dry pavements, but the it seems the manufacturerer is being very cautious. Also errors in the user manaul, which should have been checked manufacturerer, and possibly mobiquip, if they check before taking an item to sell. This was reported to the manufacturerer.”
