“Kurt did an absolutely great customer facing job from the minute I made the first phone call to your Gloucester office to the moment when he handed over the keys. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His communication and people skills are great.Heather and everyone else in your office was very friendly and Heather herself sent me all the relevant paperwork and communication at the appropriate time. “James and Kurt were swift to get back to us when we first enquired, they thought of us when we lost out on another property and showed us this one. This felt like a very personalised service. Upon meeting with James on the day of moving in, he was late and it transpired that this was due to losing the keys and having to get a new set cut. We find it quite concerning that there is a set of keys to our property out there, we'd have preferred to have had the locks changed. We also made James aware of the fact that the landlords had left one of the black bins full of rubbish from preparing the property. We cannot put both our rubbish and this filled black bin out for collection as we will be charged. We then went on to mention this again on our inventory, along with the fact that there is still guttering left in the garden and stuff in the shed (that the inventory said would both be removed before we moved in). We have had no response about these issues after the inventory was submitted. Whilst myself and Warren are a couple, we are both registered as tennants and both applied/signed agreements yet Warren was the only one to receive a email copy of the tenancy agreement and I am the only one to recieve an email for this feedback. Like i said, we are a couple but 2 tennants- for other tennants that are sharing but not together, I'm sure they'd both like to receive communications properly. On the first day in the property we experienced an electrical shortage due to exposed wires in the bedroom light switch. The man who came round to fix said switch was very casual and did not appear as a qualified electrician (he did not show any ID or have a van etc) he then told us his daughter had lived here and had no issue with the lights. We had already been made aware that the previous tennant was the landlady's daughter- this led us to speculate as to whether the man who came round was infact our landlord. We thought they needed to give notice before coming around and if he was our landlord he could have been forthcoming with that information? Upon speaking to Kurt before moving in he told us we would be meeting him and our landlady on the day of moving in, yet we met with James and no landlady. We recall seeing a man's name as our Landlord? Naturally, we are confused by this? Furthermore, I am addressed as Banny Bignell in the email with this questionnaire and apparently will be submitting this response as Banny Bignell. Whilst my email says Danny (not Banny), all my documentation such as my application and tenancy agreement is in the name Danielle so would very much appreciate if that is the name that is used and spelt correctly.”

“Great service from Michael Tucks Abbeymead offices. I dealt with Tony and Chloe. It was a Stressful period with challenging communication issues coupled with trying to exchange before the end of September when the stamp duty increased. Although this was not achieved, Tony ensured that both us and the seller were happy with the agreed outcome. Would recommend!”

“Superb service from start to finish. The staff at the Abbeymead branch (in particular Chloe Wilson and Tony Sysum) went way above and beyond what was required from them in ensuring that my house sale and purchase progressed to exchange after at least four failed attempts over a very stressful three week period due to very poor communications from other parties in this process. You cannot beat the personal touch and there really is no better agent in Gloucester than Michael Tuck and in particular the Abbeymead branch and their staff. I never want to move again after this process, but if I ever did, then this is the only estate agent I'd choose to handle this for me.”

“Property sold very quickly after being marketed. Unfortunately Probate slowed things up with the sale, but once Probate was through, Tony chased everything up and pushed for a speedy completion.”

“This is the second time we have used Michael Tuck. Firstly to seep our family home I order to move Mrs I Overthrow To a retirement home. Everything went smoothly and the team were really Great at all stages. Mrs Dawn Covacie her daughter has now moved Iris her Mum in with her and so her retirement apartment needs to be sold. After a difficult start with covid the first viewing was successful. It has been a very difficult time for the family and the whole team were so kind and helpful. Miles Pledger needs a special mention as he remembered Iris form her first sale. I just made everything easier as he had such a good rapport with her. He took his time to explain everything and nothing was too much trouble. He kept us up to date at every stage and all went smoothly. Thank you so much form all the family. Best wishes Dawn Covacie”
