“It was the most delicious Simnel cake I have ever eaten…the extra marzipan inside was a real treat as I am a big lover of it… I would buy from Meg again without hesitation… It was packaged beautifully,And was quick delivery…a BIG thumbs up…100% satisfaction”

“My father’s 88th birthday cake; my mother was a great cook and sadly passed away last October. Dad loved this cake and in a small way it gave him some joy as he would never have thought of treating himself.”

“I ordered and received a very delicious chocolate cake. So nice of have one without icing. Moist & I lov loved it Ginger cake next. Just wish I could order a chocolate wreath cage in October. It was immaculately packed and arrived in perfect order Thank you Louise”

“The new parents were absolutely thrilled to bits with the hamper and thoroughly enjoyed the contents - the brownies were mentioned specifically. The service received from Meg Rivers was top notch. I was informed of the hamper's 'journey'every step of the way and it was delivered as and when promised, filled with top quality treats. I would recommend this company highly.”

“fantastic simnel cake, but a bit miffed that when I ordered it on the day before Good Friday, I didn't get it until a week later, because the company thinks that Good Friday is a bank holiday. So, I did not have the cake at the event for which I ordered the cake”

Dear Vivienne, Good Friday is a bank holiday for banks and many other businesses across the UK. Our courier doesn't deliver on Good Friday or the Easter Monday Bank Holiday and the bakery is also closed those days. Kindest wishes, Jess
