“Cake arrived quickly and undamaged (which was a concern but in the end, nothing to worry about). The fruit cake was tasty, however, if I was very finicky, a little dry and crumbling. This would not stop me buying again if the situation ever arose.”

“Only just received (Nov), so can't comment on the products as they are for Christmas. But items arrived quickly and were well packed and look good, so gave a 4 star for now as not tasted yet. But the service was good.”

“The cake itself was very tasty but smaller than photographs imply. The rose decorations were very small and we didn't use them as they looked too small on top of the wedding cake.”

“This was the first time I ordered from Meg Rivers; in fact I had never heard of them until I ordered. I was ordering a carrot cake from someone else that I had tried before, but the topping wasn’t quite what I wanted. I was doing my research when I saw the photo of the carrot cake on Meg Rivers’ web site, the topping was just what I was looking for and hoped the cake tasted as good as the photo looked. It came on time - well wrapped. It was for my mum’s 90th birthday and I didn’t need it for another 3 days. I didn’t know how to store it until then, so I called them and it seemed as though I got advice from the very person that baked and packed it. When it was time to open it, the smell was wonderful and, at the 90th party for my mum, everyone asked me if I made it. LOL LOL LOL I confessed that I didn’t and told them where I got it from. They all loved it. There was barely any left. The cake was moist and smelt gorgeous and the topping was better than I anticipated. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend it to anyone. Top marks Meg Rivers!”
