“The instrument sounded great my only gripe is the cracks that came from the change in humidity. McNeela won't do anything to help unless we pay which isn't the best because it's just out of the 30 day grace period. Aside from that it's great”

“The instrument we received is beautiful. Unfortunately, I wrote a few emails to check on my order status and only received a response to one of them. It was frustrating given that this was our only Christmas gift to our son. I also was under the impression that we were going to receive some online music lessons with our purchase but those lessons were not forthcoming. UPDATE: McNeela contacted me the minute that this review was posted and gave us the online music lessons. I didn't expect to hear from them when I wrote the review (maybe I am naive) but they were on top of it! Thank you McNeela!”

“Dear Paraic Mc Neela Music , My bodhran arrived in very good time . It was perfectly wrapped and presented . Somehow the Beater Stick was secured so it didn't damage the drum , itself . The image of the three Celtic Crows is beautiful and , the one I ordered . I have still to watch the helpful DVD , which was an unexpected bonus....!!! I've been fortunate in already having Two lessons from a seasoned Bodhran player , which is great ! I even 'played' in an off the cuff session on our local pier on Saturday .......
