“I recently purchased 'The Wren' concertina from McNeela Music. It was a big mistake. Why? because it is so good (and it's the budget model), that I'm already regretting that I didn't immediately go for the 'The New Swan', or the 'Phoenix'! I had a little experience with concertina - an old inexpensive 20 button thing with poor action, tuning in D/G... but at least the reeds were in tune enough for me to love the sound and feel of a concetina. The Wren is a big step up in terms of sound and playability, but I know I will have outgrown it soon, as I can't stop playing and lockdown has left me with more free time than I had before. So, I love my little Wren. Get one if you want to dip your feet into the water for the first time, you will not regret it - and it came in a lovely, useful case. But for me - my eyes are already straying towards her sisters!”

“I ordered a flute book and cd for a xmas present, it took a bit longer to arrive than previously advised. However when I contacted them they responded right away to advise the order had been sent and the delay was due to the postal service which was quite understandable at that time. The order arrived a few days later. They have also contacted me to say if I wasn’t happy with the service to contact them. I have never known this from any other company and shows they care about their customers. I was more than happy with the service.”
