“I was a bit concerned when I received my very expensive Bodrhan that it had been made in China. However I was assured that it was only re cycled packaging and it was made in Ireland, with only a few component parts from China. That said, it is a lovely instrument, I am not of sufficient standard to comment on its musical form and am desperately looking for a teacher in the West Wales area. Other than that Very satisfied with my £400 drum.”

You feel respected and valued and care is taken to make sure that you make the correct purchase decisions. The monthly newsletters provide an insight into regular and new instruments available and I love it when products are on SALE. The bodhrans are world class and the sale specials help compensate the Euro to Australian dollar exchange rates. I have purchased about 11 McNeela bodhrans and every model has it's own individuality. Products reach Australia within 2 weeks on average. I enjoy listening to and reading about the 'featured artist' blogs playing at festivals and/or during their instore visits at the Baldoyle Estate, Dublin. “I have bought two items from McNeela Music: a D Wild whistle and a wooden case for an old wooden flute. The workmanship on both was top notch. The flute is sweet and attractive; not flimsy or cheap.
