“I'm not any professional whistle player yet I have tried some intermediate and customised whistles made by reputed whistle makers. A few of them can be extremely difficult at high octaves, requiring surprisingly large amounts of air and very unique breath. McNeela Wild Whistle is the one that amazed me with its gorgeous look and smooth tone. It can be easily controlled at the high octave without compromising the tone or bringing challenges to your pace of breath. If I have to give any advice, that would be the logo on the body. I do hope it could be a bit more shinier. However, when I had the whistle in my hand I realized the golden phoenix was just the base colour from the brass. Also, I do have a feeling that this whistle is quite easy to build moisture around the head while playing, which means you may want to keep it dry more often. Overall, after this Wild Whistle, I had let go of a few of my old ones.”
