“Tried to get a quote for my Royal enfield himalayan but not listed in the model section even though the bikes been available for four years, no facilities for multiple bike quotes.”

“got a good price on my m/cycle insurance which i paid in full. but a credit agreement was also set up which had to be cancelled”

“Many of the results were not comparable and seemed incorrect but it was good as general survey and to give ideas of which companies to contact for realistic quotes. It appears that this is not about MCN but that the Insurance industry is a lottery governed by algorithms that change hourly affecting prices and even refusal to insure fluctuating constantly. Its more like gambling with odds constantly changing”

“Site ok but quotes are for a very basic package by the time you add the extras eg legal cover no claims protection etc prices raise significantly”

“What a pain trying to insure a 125cc for a child turning 17. Trying to get quotes the week before policy was due to start was awful. The computer doesn't acknowledge the fact that you want the policy to start on the day he turns 17, and just says he can't have a 125 as he's not old enough.”

“I have never known a company that Harasses you for a V5 document with endless threatening emails to provide the V5 or the insurance will be cancelled, then provide a photo of a garage which is purpose built on the side of my bungalow, only to be told it’s a shed which it’s not, then get charged an extra £75 on top of the original quote,”

“I had to send info to them that I had never been asked for before, then they said I didn't then I did then I didn't. Also wanted a full address for a garage with no number in a courtyard. Just a bit fussier than I am used to. Will probably not use again, and weren't the cheapest, went to them because I thought run by MCN they would understand bikes and bikers, er no!”

“The price on the MCN site was not the price the Insurance Company wanted,about £35.00 diffrence, nothing on my side had changed to justify this. It was still a reasonable price.”

“Couldn't see any option to add another bike and look for a rider policy. No obvious way to amend your preferred excess amount to see if Insurers could tailor your policy”

“Easy to navigate & get a quote once you filled in all information. I was unable to alter excess on line & had to ring company who charged premium rate . Web site was similar to the one with meerkats , & had same quotes ?”
