“Sent the an iPhone X in really good condition - having replaced the screen a month earlier - and with no scratches or functional issues at all having lived inside a protective case it’s whole life. Was quoted £215, and once it had arrived was told there were ‘led issues’(?) with the screen so they’d pay £70. I cancelled, got it returned, and sent it to musicMagpiestore who gave me £200 for it no questions asked. Clearly mazuma are exploiting the situation without being able to trade in at other places, so please go elsewhere.”

Good afternoon, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service you received from Mazuma. Unfortunately, our technicians confirmed a defective screen due to white mark(s) in the display which is usually only visible on a white background. These tend to appear as little white stars within the LCD, it is where the pixel has died and causes it to glow brighter than the rest of them. Due to the cost of a LCD replacement, we were unable to offer you the original valuation price. All recycling companies check for different issues, depending on the market they sell back into.
