Same as people below. Offered £150 online for an iPhone 7plus, when they got the handset they claim that there are deep scratches on the screen and the offer was reduced to £55. I only took the screen protector off of the handset the day that I sent it to them so I know that this is not the case. This is the second time that they have done nth is to me. Avoid

Same problem as others. Sent iPhone 7 Plus off in immaculate condition and they devalued by £100 due to a hairline scratch on the screen. Told them to return the phone to me. Absolute con, recommend others not to use this company!!

Had an offer of £150 for iPhone 7plus 32gb. Only to be told the screen is cracked, when it only has a hairline scratch. So my offer is now £55. Rang up to dispute this, awaiting a phone call back. We have been misled so if this doesn't get resolved it's ombudsman or small claims for me!!!

Sent my iPhone 8 to them, it has a few marks and scratches on the edge, I explained this. Screen was in perfect order as since day one, it’s had a protector on it. They reduced the offer by £100 and stated it ‘needs a new screen replacement’ Asked them to return the phone... absolute rip off and joke of a company! DONT USE!!!

Was in the Apple Store on Regent Street buying a new phone when I inquired about a trade in with Apple directly. The gentleman serving us told me that the handset (iPhone 6S) was "in mint condition" but was only able to offer me GBP40.00 I quickly sent a request to Mazuma which came back with GBP65.00 so I politely declined Apple's slightly less, but more genuine quote and decided I would use Mazuma. Long story short, I received an email shortly after sending them my handset that the offer was no longer GBP65.00 and would now be GBP25.00 as the handset's unlocked status was "poor" (whatever that means) and that the camera had a crack! Absolute joke, the phone I repeat was in mint condition and was in a case from the moment the phone was first unpacked. I called and someone by the name of Benjamin did say that these instances do occur so he manually rejected the GBP25.00 offer so that my phone would be returned to me and said that they would seek damages against Royal Mail. I followed up a week later only to be told by Victoria that they are unable to raise a claim with Royal Mail as the packaging upon arrival was not damaged. There is no resolution or offer to help, just a very insult to injury-esque "sorry" but nothing else can be done. Honestly, it's quite clear from all these other reviews that these guys knowingly offer more attractive prices so as they ultimately end up being chosen for the trade-in but then use untrue and ghastly excuses to undercut someone, who's handset they are in the possession of. It does make me wonder if perhaps damage is caused intentionally? We should all raise a legal case and investigate whether there have been any whistle blower cases recorded as these con artists should not be allowed to continue doing business. As per everyone else here, wish I had read these reviews first!

Be VERY careful with this company!! Offered £65 for a 64Gig iPhone 6s fully functional when sent off recorded delivery. No same day payment as promised so phoned up 2 days later only to be informed that the home button was dead and that there was a revised offer of £5. I asked for the phone to be returned and sold it to a mobile phone shop in Eastbourne for £80!! As you might expect they checked the phone carefully for faults and funnily enough there were none.

Have used Mazuma in the past and was quite happy with service. However I sent an iPhone 6S in great condition and they have detected a fault in the screen. Apparently “white marks” are displaying on the screen. This is a lot of rubbish! There wasn’t a mark on the screen. Safe to say I rejected their new £20 offer (originally £60). Avoid this company at all costs!

just sent my samsung S8 to Mazuma and they claim there is a crack on the screen, my phone was sent in great condition with no cracks at all, been covred with a case since new they downgraded the valuation to £30 from £115 needless to say i rejected it and phoned them and they claim that is there final decision. I will be interested to see what condition my phone is returned to me in, wish i had read these reviews before sending.

Alleged screen burn o. S7 edge, phone worked great and is mint condition. Scan artists. Offer dropped from £95 to £5 once phone received, obviously hoping the offer would be received. Con all the way. Always do what I done and record the IMEI and take pics before the device is sent so you can check it when they return it. At least dick turpin wore a mask.

Mazuma are scumbags and thieves. I sent them a superb Pixel 3a complete in box with charger and instructions. They refused to buy and returned it. When I open box I find they have stolen the charger and instructions and just put a leaflet from an Iphone inside! Photo shows Iphone leaflet in teh package! Scumbags. Usual trick of big advert and promises as a front for a shabby business. Sell your phone elsewhere that this shabby business.

Scammers! They offer nice enticing prices for your phone then devalue it with something that is virtually invisible. AVOID like the plague! A**holes!! My iPhone apparently had a yellow mark on the screen when the display is displaying pure white. You never see the screen displaying pure white except when the iOS has just been installed, and even then, you can't see it. WTF???

Apparently my phone had very minor screen burn and this devalues it by £95. They offered£25 instead of £120 for a samsung S8. Strange that 2 other phone places that I took it too after it was returned offered £130 and £150 and said they couldn't see any screen burn

Sent in a phone which they re-graded as “dead” because the home button didn’t work, yet nothing in terms and conditions (including their detailed grading terms) mentioned this. I believe they only did it to value the phone less. It makes their “price promise” almost false advertising!
