I used Maxwell's DIY for the first time last Thursday to order a Black and Decker Spray Gun which was with me the following day. I was very impressed with the service and will definitely use Maxwell's again. *Great Service * Will recommended

Items ordered came quickly and next working day despite ordering on a Sunday evening with a bank holiday the next day. Items were left where asked on delivery note. Items were in great condition and have done the job beautifully.

Have just written a poor review of service & the company has emailed me to write a review on the product I've received. ..NOT received it after 2 days of waiting in...fuming do not use this company!

Still waiting for order to arrive 2nd day of next day delivery.. telephone constantly busy so no customer service either... wasted a whole weekend..will never use this company again

My order has not yet been delivered. It is now Monday evening and the delivery of the slug pellets ordered 3rd May 2015 has still not been made. What has gone wrong with all the delivery promises made by your couriers on a daily basis ???? John Bowden It is now Saturday morning and the slug pellets have still not been delivered (16th May) The delivery agent tells you he cannot find my address which has been simply to find since the house was built in 1903. I am beginning to wonder if your company exists?? Please prove me wrong by at least making some sort of response! John Bowden

I ordered two pots of paint, with next day delivery. One was received the day after - I chased the other and was assured that one was to be sent out next day as there was no sign of the other. I am still waiting for this other pot of paint, after paying £10 for next day delivery.

Easy to order and fast delivery. I was very impressed by the quality of the fencing and it looks great in my garden. Also bought the matching gate (on their eBay site).

I'm always happy with the service from Maxwells DIY, the quality of the items purchased is always excellent as is the delivery service. What is especially good compared to all the other DIY online retailers is the superb delivery charges which are always very reasonable

Ordered fence panels online, next day delivery (Tues) was confirmed by e-mail so I organised workers etc around it only to get another e-mail saying would be Wednesday. In view of arrangements already made (and weather forecast) rang online cust. services who told me to ring branch as my order was going to be sent from there because I lived so local to them (hence reason for day change). Spoke to very nice and helpful young lady all was sorted out and I got my delivery not only on the right day but I was also able to arrange a suitable time too. Thanks, will definitely use you again.

Website is poorly designed and not easy to navigate. I wanted to collect in store but there is no store selector! Eventually resolved the issue through the customer care line - you apparently need to put that info in 'ANY DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS'. Then promised a phone call when the goods arrive in store - didn't happen. I had to call at the store twice after no calls 3 days after the tracking site showed it had been dispatched from the delivery base 15 miles away. MAXWELLS need to look at how other retailers have set up there online shopping and delivery service. Won't use that method again.

Ordered for next day delivery. Was sent an email late the next day saying items were not in stock until next week with no explanation. Emailed Maxwell's but have yet to receive a response
