“Very pleased with purchase, good quality gate with solid hinges and latch - the only thing you need are screws and a spirit level! Great value, Well packaged and prompt delivery so would highly recommend. Absolutely nothing to gripe about. Thanks Maxwells DIY 👍”

“Good quality fence panels, was a small delay with delivery (due to staff illness) but good communication to keep us up to date, and still delivered well within the timeframe given when ordered.”

“We wanted some fencing for our childrens play area to keep the dogs off. Having looked around Maxwells had what we wanted and unlike some companies no huge minimum order. Communication was excellent and the product price and qaulity good.”

“Good Quality Products for Good Prices - communication wasn't bad was able to get hold of someone quickly when I called and my questions were dealt with quickly, items were dispatched and I was expecting them the next day only to find out that only one of the items had been dispatched because of an issue and the courier didn't want to deliver 1 of 5 items, all 5 items were delivered the next day which was good.”

“Terrible customer service for online purchases. I contact customer service to ask why there is delay in sending my parcel by UKmail if they can check on this for me. However, the customer service email says I have the wrong tracking number. So I check tracking number provided in this email from customer service, check online, but the tracking number gives information that parcel has been signed by someone random, I am unfamiliar with. So, I assume the number I had to begin with was right, and customer service email was incorrect and belongs to another customer. Tried calling the Maxwell online services number, but says their office now closed, despite saying they are open 9am to 4pm. Very frustrating.”

“The delivery was fast. However, the can was leaking on arrival and the paint colour was very disappointing - nothing like the colour chart. It was supposed to be a very pale mauve (Pale Thistle from the Cuprinol Garden Shades range) but after two coats on my shed it was just an off white with a bluish tinge - not mauve at all. I added two tester pots of Purple Pansy from the same range to the remaining half can and applied a third coat. I now have something that is a good approximation of what I wanted. However, I had to buy these pots. The paint was one mixed by Maxwells and I do wonder whether the mixing was correct as it was so different from what I ordered.”

“The order was not delivered on the day promised. No phone call or email received. It was delivered the next day but was the wrong size. 2 foot panels were ordered but 3 foot were sent. I was told it would take 4 days to replace as it was now Friday and Tuesday would be the earliest. As I was already late due to the late delivery I accepted a small refund but requested the customer care manager contact me. This was confirmed by a member of customer care by phone and email but no phone call from the person in charge. Poor service and customer care.”
