“all dealing from the telephonist to managers and not forgetting the lorry driver making the delivery were all extremely helpful and willing to go that bit further for the customer, my de3livery arrived 9-30 am and was all stored away by 10-00am, absolute magic. many thanks to all. before I go I have dealt with maxwells for over 20 years now and the shop staff in both south shields and Jarrow and the now closed Fredrick street, were all of the same calibre. many thanks to all. Malcolm Carruthers”

“Went Google searching for a paint which was discontinued and no longer available from B&Q and Homebase where I'd bought it previously. Found your website which is well laid out and easy to use. Excellent service - items arrived quickly and well packed. Will definitely use again.”

“I was quite disappointed in that we place a large order and found out that you did not have the amount we ordered and now have to wait for the order which has had a knock on effect in that we have to now contact and reschedule the painter and see if the weather would be as good for us as this week and his schedule can be changed Also, I called directly thinking I could ask about the order and delivery; I wanted to place the order there and then, but I was told they could not take order payment over the phone which in today's technological age seemed awkward. Maybe, at that time, they could have told me that they did not have the complete order which may have help my schedule OR allowed me to seek another provider.”

“I had never heard of, or used Maxwells DIY before. Probably the only reason I did was because B&Q and Homebase had run out of Thompson's Roof Seal - and I needed it quickly. I searched online and found Maxwells had some - and for a good price. Although it cost £3.99 for delivery - the product was delivered the next day. I phoned them and I was given the hour slot for the delivery. It arrived on time. Even factoring in the delivery charge the product was cheaper than many other firms. I was very pleased with the service I received from Maxwells - and will definitely use them again. Thanks for your reliable service.”
