“Very good service fast delivery my score would have been a five but the tin of paint was dented on arrival so maybe a little more packaging next time otherwise all okay.”

“Found Maxwells DIY to be the cheapest for Dulux Once Satinwood. Ordered 2 tins on the Sunday and received them on the Friday. Couldn't ask for better service. Will definitely make them my first port of call for future DIY requirements.”

“Whilst you did keep me informed about my order I do feel you need to up your game a little with regard to stock control , it is vital in a selling environment to know where stocks can be accessed . Having said that I do intend to use you again as although my order was delayed your Emails were a great help in keeping me informed. Very many thanks for your kind attention . Brian.”

“I ordered from Maxwell's specifically because I needed delivery of compost on a particular day. Delivery cost £15, but after waiting in all day it was not delivered, and I was not notified. I was offered £5 recompense (not yet received) which in my view is not sufficient as I could have got free delivery elsewhere if I didn't care what day it was delivered. I will not be using Maxwell's again.”

“I was very happy with my order of Westland multipurpose compost. Ordering from Maxwell's DIY was easy and straightforward. Order placed on Sunday and arrived on Wednesday. The delivery man was most helpful and polite and when I asked if he would put the 100 litre bag in the corner of my porch he was only too happy to do this. This is the second order I have placed with Maxwell's and would happily recommend them to anyone. Very happy customer.”

“Order should have turned up tuesday, had email saying dispatch delayed, had to contact them late wednesday as still no delivery to then be told order was damaged in transit. Refund process was quick though”

“I ordered this on a Tuesday on the assumption it would be delivered the next day, I received an email at lunchtime on the Thursday saying it would be delivered on the Tuesday/Wednesday the following week. Why advertise next day delivery!!??”

“Paid for next day delivery. Advised via email they wouldn't be able to do it. Only after me asking did they give me half the delivery cost back with the guarantee it would be there on the Tuesday. Turned up on the Wednesday. Would have given one star except Chelsea on the customer service was helpful.”

“They were available to talk to, they despatched the correct goods promptly to the right address. There was a minor glitch with the courier, but nothing dreadful. Now I know about Maxwells I will be using them again in preference to the big national 'shed' chains.”
