“The website promises next day delivery, which was important to me. I received an email after ordering telling me that I would not receive the goods on the following day. There was no offer to do anything at all to make amends, until I emailed back and asked for my delivery charge to be refunded. This was done, but obviously does not compensate for the extra day's delay. Plus the offer should have been made without me asking for it.”

“Extremely helpful and down to earth. Didn't have a clue how or what to measure when I bought the laminate stairs kit but the guy explained everything to me in simple terms. Looks fantastic. Will definitely buy from Maxwells DIY in the future ?”

“The floor chipboard floor boards, which I purchased, were good quality. The delivery was prompt and as agreed. I was contacted on the day prior with a rough estimate of the time, then given a half hour time slot, on the actual day of delivery. It saved me time and made the whole process simple.”

“The goods required were available, unlike other outlets such as my local B&Q and garden centres. The price was competitive and following the order & payment the delivery was as promised on the next day, which is excellent, so thank you for that. The downside, I failed to place the order on two occasions as your computer sytem had to rectified and updated and on the third attempt a very helpful and friendly lady member of your staff took my order & payment, again thank you to that lady. By the way my name is Michael Deiniol & not Beiniol, no problem, just a typying error.”

“I had a delivery of loft flooring last Friday 21st Oct. two of the packs had some damaged boards.I emailed Maxwells and sent some photos I had taken and got a quick response to say that they would send me a replacement pack on Monday.Nothing arrived on Monday so I emailed back to cust. serv. on Tuesday .I got no reply so I emailed again Thursday and got no response.I have not been informed of any delivery.After an initial quick response from Maxwells they dont seem to want to know.”

“The service and and delivery was very good The tin of paint i received however was not the paint that was advertised on Ebay. This paint tin was shown as white Satin only without a mid sheen finish .This mid sheen is a paint that i could have bought at any shop at home . I,m still looking for this non mid sheen white paint. Disappointed Harry Thompson”
