“The whole process was so easy from start to finish and will use Maxwells DYI again, will inform my friends and acquaintance's just how good I think you are. When it is cheaper to pay a delivery charge rather than go to the nearest outlet someone has got it right and that would be Maxwells DYI Thank you Barry Upperton I would also add the product I purchased was competitive on price including the delivery charge.”

“Dulux Bathroom+ paint did not arrive as promised (1 hr slot advised on the day by text). UK Mail failed to deliver and failed to call my mobile. I contacted UK Mail who said it would be delivered later that day. It didn't arrive so I contacted Maxwells. They contacted UK Mail who said it would be delivered the next day. I asked for a refund on next day delivery charge. Maxwells refused, saying it was my fault (courier could not find my address!) I said UK Mail admitted it was their error for not calling my mobile. Maxwells reluctantly offered £2:00 off £4:99 next day delivery charge. The paint arrived the following day, badly dented. It was not what was advertised on the web, but a colour matched mix which in retrospect I could have got locally. Poor all round.”

“was expecting total delivery of items because of the promised next day delivery ,only to have only half of the delivery sent and now have to wait till Monday as your next working day to have the remainder of the items .”

“I ordered online and the service was first class. Maxwells got back to me almost instantly and asked me which store and when I wished to pick up my order. My item was there at the allotted pick up time. I fully recommend Maxwells. Steve, Hartlepool”

“Ran out of the paint I was using and couldn't find it anywhere except this place! Placed my order and the paint was with me the very next day. Very reasonable prices and shipping costs, so much so that I would use maxwells over the bigger 'well known' stores as they have proved very reliable and efficient.”

“Ordered and paid for items before 4.30pm Thursday expecting delivery Friday! Got an email saying would be delivered Monday and apologies for delay. Stopped in Monday to receive delivery - did not arrive! Had no contact from Maxwells so rang the them to sort out delivery. They said goods had been damaged in transit and that they would deliver part of order on Wednesday and the remainder on Friday. The said the reason for this was that they were out of stock of the full order! Arrangements then made for all order to be delivered of Friday. I am pleased to say it was delivered on the Friday. I would suggest that more contact be made with the customers when something goes wrong!”

“Very poor service, they delivered on the wrong day and left no details of who to contact. I have constantly emailed since ordering in April and have received no response from the company. Very disappointed as they haven't even refunded my money.”
