“I was in the back garden when the delivery took place. I had asked that the parcel should be put by the bins if I was out. The parcel was left on the door step in full view of the road.”

“You advertised a product which is no longer stocked. You took my money and although you promptly refunded it I'm still waiting for it all to work through my bank account 3 days later. And you're still advertising the product on your website.”

“Maxwells provides a very good and prompt service. They have a wide stock at reasonable prices and ship very quickly. The reason for the poor score is that they use UK Mail as a delivery service, who are completely useless. Maxwells promote next day delivery. This is what UK Mail always promise and say they have my delivery on its local van for delivery next day. This never happens. It is always next day plus one. I have no idea why. If you call up you get no explanation and don't call on a Saturday you just get a useless recorded message. The timings on deliveries also don't work, nor does the tracking system or promise of a text when you are the next delivery. Don't bother to email a question, they just wait until the delivery has finally happened and then send a "case closed" email. Stay away from UK Mail ; they can let your whole delivery promise and image down.”

“What great service and great prices. I phoned to check on stocks and was helped throughout in a pleasant and professional way. Ordered on-line and received the goods before 1000 the next day! Brilliant. And it was a lot cheaper than buying from my local builders merchants, plus without the hassle of taking the car and loading it (or paying their over the top delivery charges!). Will use and recommend.”

“I have recently ordered fencing, gates and posts from this company with brilliant customer service. The man I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I asked his name. I am sure he went above and beyond to make sure my fencing was right for my garden. Can't recommend this company enough. My delivery arrived the next day and all products are great. Very pleased.”

“Excellent service,ordered on Wednesday item delivered next day. Only one concern did not receive a confirmation e-mail regarding order. Was going to wait until 3pm then query over phone, but order arrived before then. Very good price for item , would definitely recommend this company.”
