“Found Maxwells online and they had exactly what I was looking for at the best price. Delivery cost very reasonable and delivered the next working day as promised. Goods were in good order and I am very pleased with the entire experience. Would definitely recommend Maxwells (as I already have to my neighbour who was admiring my new fence) and will definitely use again. Thank you for providing such good value and great service.”

“I ordered a paint sprayer Sunday 3rd July,delivery date Tuesday 5th July,as I was working that day arranged delivery at a neighbours address with her permission (she stayed in especially ). No delivery ! I did receive an email apologising saying due to problems with the courier parcel would be delivered the next da as it was. Not a big problem and I was also offered a discount off my next order which OK ,would be good if I was intending to make another order,but I would have preferred discount on this order as don't know if and when I might make another order!”

“I was disappointed with the delivery day which I'd requested for the Thursday. After waiting in all day it never arrived due to it being dispatched to the wrong depot. I only found this out after phoning the office. It would have been nice if someone could have phoned and let me know. I was promised it would definately arrived Friday which it did.”

“Order arrived 3 days after specified date of delivery. When the order did arrive the fencing was damaged and broken. I had to take delivery of them as I needed to get the job completed. I did take photos but couldn't upload them all. The one that I have submitted shows the cross beam broken in half.”

“Ordered next day delivery, paid extra, waited in all day, delivery didn't turn up. Sent an email no response. Waited in the following day and still nothing. Called up and was promised a phone call. I had to again . Apparently item had been damaged in transit on Saturday, so why did I have to wait a further 48hrs?. Will not be ordering from you again!!”

“I placed an order for paint, which was about £5 cheaper than at a competitor. However, I changed my mind overnight, and asked to cancel. There was no trouble and I received an immediate refund. Thank you so very much, I hope to make a purchase soon.”

“Ordered paint from here as I couldn't find the same batch and brand anywhere else, needed to match an old tin to finish off the room. Would probably have been the same color in the newer products but couldn't take the chance. Was a day late on delivery but was informed so no problems there. Paint was actually dearer from here by £10 with delivery, after I received the paint turns out my local Screw fix sells the exact one I needed with no delivery price as it's literally round the corner, but they didn't turn up in a search on line. Live and learn :) Otherwise no complaints in the service....may be if you send an email out to inform of a late delivery you may want to put on the email your company name and order? Took a while to figure out what it was that was late and from whom...I ordered a few things that week :)”

“My paint had the incorrect delivery address, it had my neighbour's address and she has just come home for the first time this week and got very angry with me because it had her address. I needed the paint this week. When I rang yesterday, I was informed that the paint had been delivered to the wrong address but that a person with my name signed for it. This was not correct. I was then told it would be looked into and they would speak to the driver. I waited for a call but it did not come, I rang again still no call back. I now have the paint and a very angry neighbour. I paid through Paypal and have checked my Paypal address which is correct. This is just not good enough.”

“I ordered a crown paint I was having difficulty obtaining ,the paint arrived exactly the same day I had been given at my time of purchase I was impressed with the packaging ,also the price was competitive Approx £7.00 cheaper than homebase per tin”

“The product was excellent and arrived much quicker than expected. Although securely packaged the tin did have slight damage to both the top and bottom rim. This does not seem to have affected the seal.”

“Placing the order online was smooth. Unfortunately after that it all went wrong. Did not receive all the goods ordered. Chased them up, got no feedback at all. Sent e-mail with full details, got no reply at all not even an acknowledgment! Called again days later to finally get a satisfactory result when the missing goods arrived. Next time customers complain please make sure you follow it up and give feedback...don't leave them in the dark. Room for improvement I think. You may have lost a loyal customer over this mess.”
