“I ordered by internet on Thursday 30 April and immediately afterwards called Maxwell and was assured the order was received and would be despatched forthwith and would be delivered on Friday 1 May. The promise of next day delivery was important to me as I needed the goods (a 10kg bag of lawn seed) for immediate use. By the afternoon of 1 May I had not received the goods nor any email confirming delivery. The goods have still not arrived.”

“Very easy to find what I wanted on the website and, for what I wanted, the prices were better than anywhere else, I checked all the big competitors. Also the website is very easy to navigate, and I can find no fault in any of the products that I have purchased.”

“Order number #27894 (WEB27894) Good afternoon, I placed the above order on Wednesday 29th April and paid for next day delivery as I needed the paint as soon as possible and had been unable to source any where I live. I received an email on Thursday 30th April telling me the paint would be delivered the next working day, which would make it Friday 1st May. It is now Saturday 2nd May and I still haven't received the paint. It is now a Bank Holiday weekend and I am not expecting the paint to be delivered until Tuesday 5th May. if at all. The only problem is I go back to work on Tuesday and have not been able to complete the work I had started. If the paint is delivered, and I am not home, it will need to be left in the greenhouse, as the original instructions. Having paid for next day delivery and not receiving the paint, could the delivery fee be refunded please. Thanks for your help with this matter Lynn Turner”

“Ordered stain for the next day delivery but after half day waiting had to call to the customer servise to find out this stain is out of stock untill next week. Never had such a poor service. Had to cancel the order.”

“Ordered 1am Tues with 24 hour delivery should have been delivered Wed. Still not delivered Thurs afternoon so called Maxwells to be told after been put on hold for 10 min that did not have longer length on wood and would have to ask local branch Birtley to deliver Friday. Bit annoyed as stayed in all day Wed and Thurs would have liked a call or email to let me know there was a problem.”

“This is one of the best labour saving items I've ever purchased, does exactly what it says and professionally at that. It made light work of my many fence panels and was a pleasure to use. Just make sure when you refill the canister you don't over fill it. Extremly satisfied”

“Paid for next day delivery didn't arrive for 2 days. Only 1 tin of paint arrived & was a different make to the 1 I ordered. Phones up & told the paint wa delivered today, which was 3 days after the order. Will not use again.”

“I was informed by email that next day delivery was from date of dispatch and NOT from date of ordering. Item did not arrive. After having bought another item locally over the weekend I phoned to be told that the courier had damaged the item and didn't have the courtesy to call me. Refund requested and received. Overall I am not satisfied with the service provided. Will not be usin Maxwells again.”
