“I am not one for leaving reviews however the service I got from Maxwells, whom I've never used before was exceptional. Ran out of paint as you do, could not find the same paint any where local. So called Dulux agents! Maxwells delivered the paint the day after ordering & even with postage was the same price as the original paint I'd purchased. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“There was an initial mix up with the order when it arrived, but getting it sorted couldn't have been easier and the staff were very helpful and apologetic. The remainder of my order was sent and arrived as promised. The quality of the goods I received was very good and at nearly half the price of other DIY establishments, (that's if they actually stocked it). A bit of a hiccup on the order but all in all very happy, especially the service.”

“Postage time was as quoted 2-3 days and it came on day 2. Really good polish with excellent results. I have been using this polish for the last three years on my car and caravan and wouldn't use anything else .”

“Ordered 2 tins paint for next day delivery. Phoned 2 days later and advised damaged in transit. Promised to send a replacement that day. 2 days later said could not find the stock in the warehouse. At no time did they try to phone me and advise of the problem. This delivery was very important for me as I was going away 4 days later and needed this paint urgently to finish a job off. Now unfinished because of this. Extremely disappointed with service and will not us again. Order cancelled”

“Was not happy I received a different product from the one advertised. I paid more online to get the product advertised, could have bought the one they sent for £5 pounds less up the road! When I mentioned this to them by email I received no reply whatsoever?”

“I recently purchased some items from Maxwell's they were reasonably priced and were delivered to my door within a couple of days of purchase. I am disabled & appreciated the delivery drivers assistance who carried the items upstairs for me... he went beyond his normal remit to help us out! I`d recommend this company and would definitely buy from them again... fantastic service thank you Maxwell's D.I.Y ! James Burn”
