“Only part of the delivery arrived and had to chase up the courier service as to what had happened left a message asking to be contacted no one got in touch . fence panels were missing nails or badly tacked some of the panels were loose or hanging off.”

“I cannot review a service not having any goods to comment upon,in fact I have initiated a complaint thru penpal to find out what has happened ,I have sent you an e mail and telephoned you without responce,hence my very poor rating”

“I bought this device wanting to spray my garage internal walls as I was finding using a brush was taking up time. I did try to confirm if it would be suitable with the paint I was using and was told it be fine, however it wasn't all that great unless watered down. First time use I couldn't get it working until I pumped water through it. Once I worked out what the best consistency was it works really well, sadly not as good as I hoped for the task I am dealing with but I can see it working perfect for food or flat surface jobs. Nice bit of kit in all fairness, but I don't think it is suitable for Masonary work as it suggests. I will be using it on Fences, Wood work I need spraying in the future and based on spraying over some wood and flat items it seems to be perfect.”

“I would never buy from this site again. You have to buy and pay for the goods before you know the shipping charges. They have soothing words like shipping from £9.99. My shipping charges cost more than what I was buying. Very bad practise to charge in this way, a good site will show the customer the price of the goods and the price of the shipping so they can make an informed decision before committing to buy. Beware.”

“We ordered from Maxwell's as they advertise next day delivery. Ordering on the Friday we understood the items would not arrive until Monday. Stayed in Monday then got an email just before 5pm to say our delivery would not be until Wednesday! If we had known we would have ordered from another company and paid a bit more as the items were needed urgently.”

“The fence panels are very good value. Unfortunately there are 6 slates missing and I would appreciate it you could send them to me. I paid for next day delivery (Friday) to enable us to fix the over the weekend, as they did not arrive until the Monday we were unable to proceed.”

“I ordered items online and paid using my bank card. The delivery driver brought to my attention that three of the five posts which were needed to complete the job were missing, and he advised me to phone or contact maxwells to inform you which my husband did. The remainder of the order was due on Monday and the remaining picket fencing arrived but no missing three posts, so therefore our workmen had to come back again another day. This resulting in me purchases the posts locally at additional costs. I also sent an email concerning the above and I have not even received any reply. My husband phoned again and he was offered the three missing posts to be sent out the following day which this was no good as the job is now finished, and he has asked for a refund Very disappointed customer”

“Very pleased with the service and quick delivery. The paint I wanted (Dulux Made by Me - Craftmans Clay) seemed impossible to find until I discovered Maxwells! Have been using this paint for Shabby Chic effect so was important to use the same make and colour again to complete the look. Absolutely delighted I managed to find it. Thank you Maxwells.”

“I have had a terrible experience with maxwells. I ordered 7 fence panels and some fixings. They were ment to arrive Friday. I called Thursday to get a rough time of delivery to be told I need to ring on Friday to get a time. I called Friday I was not given a time but was told that the delivery would only arrive in part at some point Friday as some of the panels were damaged and the replacement would be sent and delivered Saturday. Nothing arrived I waited in all day Saturday nothing arrived called the online support and no one was there to pick up the call. Monday morning I got back on the phone to be told my order wasn't on the system and they would re send it and it would arrive Tuesday by 12... Nothing arrived I called the office they lady said on her system it had been delivered and signed for. She was going to get back to me nothing so I called again and again. She told me it had been delivered and signed for by mark?? I don't know a mark and non of my neighbours are called mark it made no spence. I had been in and nothing arrived. A manager was going to call me straight back.. After 1hour I recalled the office to speak to him to be told that the delivery driver had switched his phone off but it had been delivered. I asked for a refund as there was no delivery and after waiting in 2 days for a delivery that hadn't turned up I was starting to get pretty peeved. And we are on day 5. He told me I needed to wait till the evening as the driver has delivered them. Pretty peeved at this point as I'm still without fencing. I then got a phone call to say that the driver was going back to where he had delivered them too and would re deliver to the right address. To me this all sounds dodgy as one the delivery had been signed for by someone. Two my address on the paper work was correct I was in. All in all the experience was awful from the shoddy delivery driver to the poor customer service and to top it off one of the fence panels was damaged when I did receive the panels. If you want your order on a certain time/ day and in good condition I'd go somewhere else.”
