“Beautiful little cowslip plugs. Potted them on to develop over the summer before planting out. They are looking good. Order was delayed a little, but Meadow Mania kept me advised. Would use again.”

All Meadow mixes are based on 80% grass and 20% wild flowers. You sow lawn seed at 40 grams to the sq metre and meadow mixes at 4 grams. So you are only sowing about 3 grams to the sq meter of grass seed in a meadow. The grass is an important backdrop for the flowers.

“I am very impressed with MeadowMania. They gave me lots of useful advice on how to set up my new mini-meadow. The seeds and plugs arrived in good condition and my meadow is growing, which considering how bad I am at gardening and how cold the weather has been is a great result! “Absolutely brilliant all round. I seem to have some kind of "death touch" with wild flower seeds, and I'm slapdash at preparing the soil as suggested. But on two occasions, hapzardly sown, these have taken well and grown beautifully. Thank you!”

Delivery of plugs this season has been longer than expected due to an exceptional level of demand. Plug sizes can vary between species, but all will have a strong developed root system. If you have any concerns about the plants when you receive them contact us direct and we will look to resolve any problems
