“I was unsure whether plug plants or a seed mix would be better for me to establish wildflowers in new planters so I dropped meadowmania an email. I received a quick reply which advised me to try the seed mix 1st. I ordered 3 x 10g seed mixes so i'll see how it goes. “I recently bought 10 plugs of Harebells. I am Scottish and they were my favourite wild flower from the banksides and I remember them fondly as a girl. I just wanted to create a little part of "Scotland" in my garden. The plugs are on my kitchen windowsill and growing very well and I shall plant them out once frosts have gone. I am so looking forward to them flowering. I can't thank Meadowmania enough.”

The quality of the seed was exceptional and so this year I have bought some native snowdrops and bluebells. “Started a wild flower patch last year - rather late - first week of May because of torrential rain in the weeks before. All the grass was removed...then because the ground is heavy clay I added sand - rotovated 3-4 times - more sand. Threw the seeds. The results were utterly amazing. 'Gasp with delight good' !!! Honestly. However, over the winter the bullyish grass clumps coming up again darn them...so I've spot killed them I'm afraid...will do it again...leave it a bit..then remove those clumps. I'm also adding yellow rattle to try to deter the grass in the future. Advice, support, information pamphlet, efficiency of posting etc all great with Meadow Mania. I'm not going to anyone else - ever!”
