“Asked for a Monday 15 March delivery and I got a phone call at 08.30 on Friday 12th saying they would be arriving in ten minutes, I could have been out, not very organised”

“Had to purchase paving from Marshall’s direct as there was no supply locally and the materials were needed urgently. They were excellent to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and they communicated with me by phone regularly along the way. My order was delivered on time and the materials were as expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. 5 star service.”

“Great product ordered at a fair price. The delivery chap was really helpful and communication was outstanding. I am really pleased with my order and plan to order more "Croft Blocks" as soon as I get this delivery laid. Thanks.”

“I ordered a pack of large sandstone slabs and they arrived on time and in good condition. We realised during the laying of the slabs that we were three slabs short and Marshalls assisted in providing three single ones very quickly for us .”

“I was struggling to find sufficient supplies of paving from a number of Marshalls stockists and with less than a week before my paving contractor was due to turn up I was facing having to opt for something other than my preferences. At this point I went back to source and checked Marshalls own site. Following the site's advice I then rang Marshalls directly to check on delivery times. In the course of the call the Marshalls staff member sourced my first choice of paving in stock with the South of England and was able to arrange fast track delivery ahead of my contractor's arrival. All round amazingly helpful, great service and great value and my paving looks lovely too.”

“I was interested in Croft walling for my landscaping project. I was pleased with the sample and decided to buy some. I was most impressed with the people I spoke as they were all courteous and knowledgable about the products. I must give special thanks to the driver for his professionalism and the enthusiastic chat I had with him. I am looking forward to starting my project.”

“Delivery lorry damaged our garden wall, footings and pavement causing me a lot of extra expense which Marshall’s claim they are not liable for. So a very bad experience for me.”

“The block paving sample that I received did not match the paving that I received. The composition of the sample was far superior to the final result that I was delivered. Most disappointed I sent a complaint email but have never received a response”

“Customer service was good, the receiver of the call was helpful. The service could be improved with their website clearly setting out in every picture which stones/pavers were used. Also if Marhalls are no longer sending out their catalogue then this should be clearly set out on their website. We were told the catalogue will be sent out , and when it did not arrive was told the catalogue is now online only. Other then this service was good.”

“The delivery took months - literally. We did not know they were not shipping to us till we rang to find out where our bricks were. Twice! The person we spoke to at customer services seemed surprised that we were chasing our order, as if we didn't need the bricks.”
