“SPOKE TO AN ASSISTANT OVER THE PHONE WHO HELPED ME WORK OUT HOW MANY SQ METERS I WOULD REQUIRE, I WANTED TO ORDER OVER THE PHONE BUT WAS ASKED TO DO IT ON THE WEB AS THEY WERE SO BUSY. ORDER IS COMING ON THE 20/4/21 SO I HAVE NO PICTURES.”

“This was my first experience of purchasing from Marshalls and overall I was happy. I spoke with a number of staff to query stock and I needed to change my delivery date. The phone was always answered promptly and each person I spoke with was very polite and helpful. My delivery was unfortunately sent to the wrong address as it had got bundled with another one but I let Marshalls know of the mistake and they quickly rectified the matter and my delivery arrived a day later which was no issue for me. The nice thing was that the person whom I spoke with said that she would sort it out and phone me back and she did; these days it unusual to find someone who actually does what they said they would without being chased.”

“Telephone sales and advice were very good. Delivery went without a hitch although a little more proactive communication would have been appreciated. The delivery driver went the extra mile to place my pallets of Stone exactly where I wanted them.”

“I wanted to buy some retaining wall blocks and chose Croft from Marshalls. As there was no stock I needed to pre-order but I could not get through on the telephone and the online chat was not available. In the end I sent an email to express my frustration and to try to place my order. To be fair the email was answered promptly and Claire was very helpful in placing the order for me. The order is due end April so cannot comment on delivery yet.”

“Currently I am in the middle of having my driveway replaced and it was brought to my attention that there were no Concrete Paving Blocks available. As I needed 15 pallets immediately it was a bit of a disaster! Gillian was amazingly helpful and managed to track down 13 from Cambridge for me. These are being delivered this Wednesday. As I have a narrow driveway she was also able to advise delivery on a moffit with a fork lift to combat this. Gillian has been a real help as your delivery into the country is not until the end of March and then it would fulfil January and February orders first so no guarantee that I would get 13 pallets. Just hoping now that delivery goes smoothly.”

“Customer service was good, the receiver of the call was helpful. The service could be improved with their website clearly setting out in every picture which stones/pavers were used. Also if Marhalls are no longer sending out their catalogue then this should be clearly set out on their website. We were told the catalogue will be sent out , and when it did not arrive was told the catalogue is now online only. Other then this service was good.”

“Symphony Classic project Pack - Ordered on line, delivery scheduled and met, driver called en-route and then went that extra mile to lift the consignment over a fence to save me having to hand ball them round. Very Covid safe delivery.”
