“Conflicting and poor communication from ordering to delivery and post delivery. At one point told my items were out of stock after being given a delivery date. Delivery date changed again and each time I had to rearrange trades people. I received a final delivery date but then delivery was a day early so we were not ready for it. I should have been left with one tub of jointing compound but was left with 50! Rang to get them taken back and told they would be picked up. Waited in all day but not picked up. Rang again and told they would be picked up the following day. Not picked up again. Rang again and the member of staff dealing with this has now gone on holiday. It will be only a matter of time before the jointing compound tubs get stolen as they are at the bottom of my drive. After spending four days on the telephone and waiting around, I give up.”

“We are very pleased with the product we purchased, but not at all with the delivery service. At the time of placing our order I asked for the delivery to be made using a small lorry because we live in a narrow country Lane. The original delivery date was cancelled (without informing us) but arrived on the next day A very large vehicle arrived and could not reach our house. At one point the driver told us he had had enough and was going to return our paving to his depot. I had to run to catch up with this lorry and persuade him to unload the paving about a quarter of a mile away from my house where the Lane was broader, then persuade my builder to collect it in his small truck. I’m 70.”

“I phoned Marshalls to order 112 SYMPHONY Plus Classic tiles and the people were very polite and very helpful. Tiles arrived on time no damaged tiles and driver was very polite very pleased with Marshalls and would use them again.”

“We ordered artificial grass Always Green from Marshalls and we are really happy with the quality of the product and it made the finishing touch to the garden look amazing. However, the delivery of the item almost a week later than scheduled with several phone calls to the company. They informed me that it actually comes from another company that they are associated with in regards to artifical grass. So whilst the product is excellent, the delivery service from the third party and communication must improve and be a lot better. The delivery driver however was friendly and helpful.”

“Ordered bricks for delivery 2 weeks later I had booked the week off to build a wall but no delivery rang up to be told the bricks are out of stock waisted 2 days trying to sort it out but customer service was terrible and decided to cancel the order as they couldn’t deliver anything for at least 2 weeks so having source the bricks from another supplier won’t purchase anything again from them”

“I have been dealing with Jaz Key from customer service/technical adviser who has been exceptional. Unfortunately a few flags had been damaged during transit and new ones had to be requested. This re-delivery was rapid and information/communication throughout was amazing. As I reviewed my garden plan I realised I needed a few more flags and despite Jaz not being able to support this due to not splitting packs he responded immediately with a suitable alternative.”

“Contacted Marshall to obtain one of their excellent products that we had been following in their brochures and found samples in our local garden centres fitted for effect but due to Covid supplies were not readily available, either due to manufacturing, or transport being unavailable. But, "but" Marshall,s admin staff kept us up to-date on the situation on availability via 6-7 emails, thank you admin ladies, and it was delivered by a helpful, cheerie" truck driver. All in all a very pleasant journey, and a very pleasant product. Thanks Marshalls !!”
