“Delivery was very quick and my Coniston looks lovely. It's filled with character. The watch keeps very good time and is the perfect size for me; large enough to read the time easily, but compact and light enough to fit under a sleeve and be unobtrusive. “The choice of one's watch is a very personal thing, and the Marloe Watch Company is less a vendor, more a partner in that choice. I have had - and have - a number of watches over the years, from Accurist to Omega, but they are all a bit... samey. I remember attending one meeting in which seven of the ten men present all wore Omega Seamasters - including me. I chose the Morar when it became available because it is a little bit different. It expresses individuality not conformity. It doesn't shout "I HAVE A LOT OF MONEY"; instead it leans in close and murmurs "I have taste". For an understated watch, it garners a surprising amount of attention. The design is is masculine without being cocky - assertive not aggressive. It has the air of a timepiece that has been around for years, and will be for years more. Functionally, it keeps excellent time; it gains slightly, which is always preferable. The luminous dots and hands, when fully "charged" are enough to find your front door keyhole on a stormy night - or to read the time at 5am, before sliding back to sleep with a sigh for an hour or so more. The Morar is a watch to be worn, not waved about. It does the job admirably, and with considerable elan. Highly recommended.”
