You know what...life's too short to waste time writing reviews after all everyone wants you to do it. Too short except, that is, when the service/product is truly awful OR, far more rarely, when the service/product is beyond one's wildest expectations. And that is what we have here; service that was beyond my wildest expectations. * I made an internet enquiry to a considerable number of retailers for a quote for supply and delivery only of a Contura 54T stove. Manor House Fireplaces came in with the best quote, a quote that they said was a 'trade' price. Brilliant! * I duly placed the order and dealt with the most helpful anfd informative chap (Martin) you could ever wish to deal with. I explained that I had considerable delivery difficulties due to a long narrow gravel drive down which lorries would not fit. Martin asked me to leave it with him. * I got a phone call from Martin to advise that a special one-off van would be assigned to deliver my stove. Excellent! * The stove was ordered from Contura in Sweden and Martin kept me appraised of all developments. * I got a call from Martin to advise that the stove had been delivered to his shop and asking me when I would like it delivered - wow, thank you! I asked for a specific date and guess what? The stove arrived as promised and it was on a little Luton van as a special one-off - Superb! * As an aside, on the morning of the anticipated delivery I received an email from Martin to advise that the stove should be with me by 1330 and that if it had not arrived by them to give him a call so that he could find out exactly where it was and then give me a revised time when it would be with me. No need, the stove arrived at 1305! * I immediately unpacked everything to make sure everyting was there (it was) and that there were no breakages (there were not) and guess what? I had been GIVEN a pair of Manor fireside gloves, a huge box of Manor matches, a Valiant stove thermometer and a pack of Vailiant stove glass cleaner - unbelievable. I hope that Manor House Fireplaces become the most successful stove retailer in the UK and that Martin becomes a multi-millionaire on the back of it. Life is too short to waste time writing reviews execpt when you receive the truly phenomenal service that I have from this wonderful trustworthy and honourable company. And no, I am not an employee of Manor House or a friend of Martins. I'm a retired London Cop and I just got lucky when I found this firm on the internet. You won't be disappointed.

We have bought from Manor House twice now and have been extremely pleased with the products and prices, but most of all with the helpfulness of Michael, who is an extremely knowledgeable man and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely buy from them again and cannot recommend them highly enough.

We recently purchased our first stove from manor house and have been extremely pleased with the level of service received, particularly from Martin and Michael who were both brilliant. We received friendly helpful advice whilst in store and subsequently by telephone and the delivery service was great. The showroom is spacious and welcoming with a wide range of stoves to choose from and the staff cannot do enough to help you pick the one that is right for you. After searching for weeks online we are so glad we went to manor house. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!!

Really easy to order, arrived quickly, but beware if you want a specific time for delivery eg AM or PM there is an additional cost of £12.50 which was not advised at point of sale. Other than that really good would order again.

The team at Manor House Fires went above and beyond to assist in the purchases of a balanced flue Hole in the Wall fire for a new build development. In the end we had to change to a different product due to site constrictions and they were did not grumble about wasted efforts. They give one confidence that if there is a problem after the product has been fitted that they are there for the long term.

Very satisfied with the knowledge and service of the shop staff in relation to every type of fire, and gave us useful information. The fitters were excellent and didn't leave until everywhere had been cleaned up. Very happy with the fire and surround that we chose. I would recommend Manor House to our friends.

Very happy with my new fireplace. I paid immediately after the fitter left via a bank transfer. However there was confusion over this although I quoted my customer number. I received a letter saying I still owed £804. I had to send an email to ask Manor House to check their records. I will recommend Manor House but suggest customer number and invoice number be quoted.

Visited a number of showrooms but choose Manor House due to their great customer service. A large range of products were on offer which could confuse you, but staff were very attentative giving great advice to help make the right choice with any pressure selling. Fitters very friendly and caused minimal disruption (just make sure you stock up on biscuits for them!). Aftercare service spot on too.

Very efficient from start to finish. A detailed quote setting out clearly everything that was required followed by a very efficient installation done to a high standard. We had to wait a little while before an installation slot was available, probably because we decided to do it in the winter, but they seem to be very busy, so if anybody is thinking of a logburners or other fire - plan ahead.

I found dealing with ManorHouse very easy and I much appreciated the personal touch when I was telephoned and asked exactly when it would be convenient to deliver my stove. It arrived as planned, safely packed and I am absolutely delighted with it. Over and above the perfect service, the price was the best I could find anywhere. An excellent company to deal with. I waited all day for the delivery and it didn't turn up, In the evening a very honest neighbour called and said the delivery was forced into her house because the wrong hose number was put on the invoice. I had never met this lady before and she told me the driver was very rude to her and although she told him the parcel was not for her he insisted she take it in. Totally disappointed and cross about the whole episode they had my mobile number to get in touch with me. Also if my neighbour had been dishonest the parcel would never have been seen!

Very pleased with the service and help given with my purchase. item was delivered very quickly even though it was not in stock at the time of order. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again for any other purchases.
