“Micheal was very helpful when choosing the log burner and was also very helpful when it came to getting the right flue as it wasn’t straight forward on the fitting side of things. Would recommend his expert advice to anyone. Thanks again.”

“Not having gas, and not keen on digging out our fireplace for a woodburner, we were somewhat at sea when it came to choice. Fortunately the salesman was able to point us in the right direction (electric) and knew his subject. We're delighted with the outcome, having now taken delivery of our stove.”

“Visited their place a few days ago. Incredibly unhelpful. If I could have awarded them zero stars I would. We wanted someone to undertake the whole project in line with the content on their website. Unfortunately, the sales dude said ‘We’re too busy’. I don't have the time or knowledge to find a reliable gas engineer or a builder or a flooring fitter or to project manage the whole thing. On their website Manor House state they project manage the whole job. Really? I must have missed something there. Never darken their doors again. Horrific experience. Appalling customer service.”

“We ordered our new gazco fire and surround in May for fitting on 1st September and paid the invoice immediately. However, the new fire has not worked since it was fitted. Manor House Fires have left it to Gazco to sort and we have had terrible service from them too. Engineers have visited but have not fixed the fire. The last attempt was 23 Dec where we were told they would fix it for Xmas. The engineer (who wore no mask when coming into the house) said it had better work as he had replaced all the parts they could. Manor House fires did not contact us to check the engineer had come and simply said will contact you in new year. Christmas Day the fire did not work again.. We will have no fire now over the holiday period having been without it for nearly 5 months already. Terrible service and still no way forward. Would certainly not recommend.”

“Michael, Elena and Craig couldn't have been more helpful, and very patient with my dithering! Before the fire could be fitted, I had extensive building work done to my lounge, and when I was concerned about how the opening in the fire grate had been left, Craig came to my home within hours of my calling into the shop, and reassured me that he could deal with it. An extremely pleasant, friendly and professional organisation. Highly recommended.”

“Went to Manor House Fireplaces after visiting a couple of other local shops to look for and purchase an electric fire. The showroom is much better/bigger than the competitors with lots of models on display. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and helped me choose the right electric stove. They then price-checked their price against offers on the internet and matched the lowest price. Super happy, no haggling involved just first class service.”

“The shop well presented and very clean some good music when you walked in, polite, friendly and knew their thing about fires and the ones they supplied which helped me decide my choice of fire, also prepared to match prices, in our case they were lower than places we originally looked at if they don’t have the colour, in my case I wanted black they only had cream or not got that one in stock in the shop at the time they’re happy to get you that exact fire you want and are honest about how long it can be and they keep you updated not just by email but by phone too and are quick to offer a refund if you change your mind at last minute or not happy with no fuss and are happy to help if there is a problem with your fire/stove, good delivery service. I would definitely recommend”

“Michael and his sweep and fitter were complete professionals from start to finish. We had returned to Manor after our first purchase 20 years ago!! and the customer service was still great. They came to do the initial survey and final fitting at the date and time promised, made sure everything fitted perfectly and left the room spotless. I don't think I need to say anything more.”
