“I'm loving my minty monty it's really different to my full suspension marin. So still getting used to it. To only thing I've changed is the pedals to clipless and taken brakes off.”

“I love my mango bike. Simply put, one of the best young British cycling companies right now. It's a pleasure to ride, well made and easy to maintain. Very smooth ride and adequately robust with just enough features to love it without making it over complicated. Only constructive criticism would be that once I had tried their single speed/fixed bike I considered getting a AR as well. It looked like a great value bike but I would have liked a few more colour ways to choose from other than the offered 4. When their range of colour ways are extended on this product I will 100% be buying another Mango bike! Love my bike mango, thanks!”

“400 miles down the road on my Mango Point AR and I'm a very happy camper indeed. It eats up my 30 mile roundtrip commute and makes me smile every time I ride it, especially now I've got it set up right, and also swapped the saddle for my own - but that's just POSNIB stuff (Problem On Saddle, Not In Bike!). Will at Mango couldn't have moved the earth more to make sure the bike was ready to deliver to me - even going down to a local bike shop to get brake cables, as their supplier hadn't delivered in time. Excellent service and excellent product, couldn't be happier!”

“Overall the experience of buying from you was ok, Your website is excellent. On receiving the bike I was pleased, you get what you pay for and I was pleased. However after less than 50 miles I find the bike has issues. The wheels both front and back makes noises.... Something metallic like metal filings can be heard inside both wheels. I took off the tyres as I was afraid of punctures, but the sound is coming from the deep dished hubs so you can't shake it out. The brakes make a noise like a hell cat, especially the front. Otherwise all ok. I still ride bike as a commuter, although I still haven't exceeded 100 miles and the bike feels well worn in. The frame is ok, and is comfortable. Better wheels would make a difference, but probably hard to do in this price range.”

“Pros: Very clear purchasing system, with options. Bike easy to assemble as promised And a very nice non-nonsense fixed gear bike Cons: Some confusion in build and delivery: needed to ring twice to chase. Probably a change in systems. A tinkling noise coming from the crank system - also reported by others.”

“Hi there, the delivery was prompt, updates were good and the package as very sturdy. Instructions were clear and the bike is awesome! Website is really easy to use and the online colour chooser was so useful. I did opt for a single speed with the idea of learning to maintain it myself, maybe you have them already but some short tutorials on changing parts might be an idea. No picture of the bike at the moment, it desperately needs a wash!”

Hi Charles, it looks like you've taken delivery of your bike today. Large Point Blank frames were out of stock for a few weeks as stated on the website at the time, apologies for the inconvenience!

“Received my bike and very excited about taking it for a ride only to find out that the gears are playing up,gave them a call and said that I'll be sent a video on how to fix it,a week has past and still no video,ended up loooking at youtube.And another thing,I ordered a point R starter pack and still waiting for the missing pump.”

“Great bike, I can't fault it so far. I think it would be good to get a better idea of how long it would take to receive my bike because mine took the best part of a month after ordering. It was ok because I realise they're made from scratch but I was never informed of developments, i had to contact myself.”

“I really love the bike. I was disappointed though that it didn't come with the tool kit which I had to chase up. I've since had to ask three times for a pack of fixings for the basket which still hasn't arrived :(”

“The mango single speed is a fantastic piece of kit (so much so that we have 3 in the house!) The bikes are hard wearing and average a 100 mile week on various surfaces. The oldest bike is 3 and has been easy to maintain and service, it is now at Dundee uni being used for commuting. The individuality of designing your own means you have a bike that really 'pops'. The yellow single speed has even been used in a variety of triathlons around Scotland and the compliments do flow at these events. The lightweight frame means that I can get them on the roof bars easily even with me 5ft 1 height issues.”

“Absolutely love my mango, easy to ride, durable, and great fun! Have had mine over a year now and it's still working good as new! I've got a courier job and I use my mango for that to speed around town delivering food, really really good bike and I've been very pleased with my bike.”

“I have for 30+ years had a road bike and wanted something..........different, Mango Bikes had the answer........ a build my own fixed wheel fun bike!!, I love it, it's, well, just fun on 2 wheels!. My bikes have always been built for me, size, colour etc and this was no different really, the hardest bit was deciding what to choose!. I was apprehensive about buying online but there was no need, when my bike arrived it was exactly what I wanted and more. If I had more room in the garage I would have a Mango for every day of the week. I would thoroughly recommend a Mango!!”

“I love the look of the bike, and think it is very good value for money, but was disappointed by three things. Firstly, the initial setup. There were no instructions on how to set up the bike (fitting handlebars, wheels, pedals, etc). As this was my first road bike, this meant a lot of looking on the internet for advice. I really think you'd do well to put together a little intro pack, maybe some material discussing how to position handlebars. Secondly, I think the bike was poorly set up. I had some problems with the disc brakes, which (on my first ride past the end of my road) warped due to heat. I'm guessing this is because the wheels were not aligned correctly, or possibly because the brakes had not been set up correctly. Thirdly, the rear derailleur cable frayed and needed replacing. Whatever the reason, it cost me almost £100 in parts and labour. That's something I'd expect after I'd been riding for six months rather than one.”

Hi Thomas, apologies for the missing instructions. We do have videos on our website too, but you should have reached out and we'd have sent the instructions again. It's not uncommon for disc brakes to require a bit of bedding in, but the rotors can easily be trued with your bare hands. A local bike shop might be able to use tools to straighten to a higher degree of accuracy, but the solution they provide is often nothing you can't do yourself :) Your feedback on positioning the bars is much appreciated, and we will see to update this.

“I bought a custom single speed in January and have been cycling everyday since. Absolutely love my bike and couldn't be happier. More colours would be welcome for the custom bikes. Maybe a small maintenance guide as well.”

“Absolute great all round city bike went together really easily as expected. The amount of customisation is outstanding and so is the customer service. I ordered out of stock handle bars so they sent me the bike with normal bars (which I get to keep) instead of waiting until the next batch came in. The only issue I could find was with the paint job. There Is a couple of runs on my frame nothing major but that could still be improved if I was to buy another one in the future. Saying that my bike is a year old now and the company has since released lots of new styles with new paint colours. I'm sure they have ironed out any creases. Thanks mango for awesome customer service. Instagram account is cool. Good job guys 4.7/5.”
